DHH Med Spa offers a variety of non surgical options for looking and feeling your best. We offer machines for fat dissolving, building muscle, tightening and stimulating collagen. We also offer facials, chemical peels, botox and fillers. There are so many facets of our business that makes DHH unique, for one, experience I have 20 years of experience in healthcare, 9 of those years in aesthetics Aesthetics has become a popular area of nursing to work in, but one thing that separates me from the others is that I hold a board certification in Aesthetics (which less than 300 nurses in the U S hold!) Besides experience in the field we have always felt it was important to treat individually You will never feel rushed in our office, you will never feel like a number We tailor our treatments to each individual and always give the best “bang for your buck” options

Yes we have received the Best Botox award for three years now. I think besides just being good at what we do and knowing anatomy and how to inject, those awards were really won due to the relationships we have built There are over 50 other businesses in a one mile radius injecting Botox (crazy but true) With so many options my clients could easily find somewhere closer to their house or cheaper, but they continue to come to our office I think the trust I have built with so many of our clients really stands out I had a group of clients that were referred to me recently and they said they had been other places but they could tell I wasn’t just trying to make money off of them They trusted that I was only going to recommend what they needed That trust has built many long term relationships

Q: TELL US ABOUT DHH MED SPA AND WHAT MAKES YOUR MED SPA SO UNIQUE.

Q: YOU WERE VOTED BEST IN THE VALLEY FOR MULTIPLE SERVICES. THAT’S AMAZING! WHAT MAKES YOUR SERVICES SO COVETED?

What a great question, the aesthetics industry is changing so fast it can be hard to keep up! In 2023 I think we will actually be able to treat our clients more holistically than in the past few years. Originally when I started DHH I envisioned focusing on weight loss and hormone replacement. As referrals came in I became so busy with aesthetics that I had to stop taking on weight loss and hormone clients. I announced a few months ago that I was beginning to see weight loss patients again now that my nurse Kylie is trained to perform Botox and fillers I am sure another new machine will also pop up in our office, I like to do a lot of research first though before bringing on any new technology I always want to try the device and make sure it gives the results my clients are expecting because they can be expensive!

Q: WHAT HAS YOUR EXPERIENCE AS A WOMAN-OWNED BUSINESS BEEN LIKE?

My experience as a woman owned business has been a rollercoaster Your work is never done There have been many

times in the 7 years that I have owned this business that I have wanted to quit Most people that know me know that I think more like a man and am straight and to the point Sometimes being a woman and in healthcare people have preconceived notions about you, I think, like that I will be more delicate in some way But because I am so busy running around the office seeing clients and not sitting at a desk job I am quick and to the point

If you want it you can have it but it’s not going to be given to you. If you want to own your own business or be a leader, that often comes with hours outside of 9 5 It is so important to invest in yourself When I opened my business I had two areas to educate myself in, being a brand new business owner and also I was still mastering aesthetic injecting I marketed, networked and stayed up late watching webinars on injection techniques I heavily invest in my training and always take away something valuable that I can bring back to my clients
