We are pulling back the curtain to give you a behind-the-scenes look at beauty looks Back of House at The Carolina Fashion Awards and to show our appreciation to our fantastic team of hairstylists and makeup artists that worked together to create the experience. This year?s looks were inspired by those year?s award theme; thunder and wind. The element of wind was used by creating movement in the hair with braids and textured sky-high hair. Our makeup artist brought the thunder with bold blush stories, reconstructed shadow, and retro glam looks. Meet our BOH team.

A r ising gr aphic illustr ator, comic book ar tist, and footwear designer, Elisha focuses on the sense of por tr ait ar t, which visually demonstr ates emotions, stor ytelling, and color theor y through life and imagination. She gr aduated from Johnson & Wales Univer sity in Char lotte, NC, Class of 2017. Also, discovered the love of footwear and color theor y with a minor in footwear design at L ondon College of Fashion in 2017 and color design at PENSOL E Footwear Design Academy in 2018. Elisha Cutter created #TheBoxM ethod to symbolize her j our ney and timeline of life as an ar tist. Her wor k has grown exposure over the cour se of one year, receiving awar ds from SouthEnd Ar ts Galler y to displaying her wor k at Ar t with Hear t Foundation, RAW Ar tists, and Conception Ar ts. She wants to expand her wor k inter nationally through her own mission, which states," I create stor ies within my ar twor k and leave a statement to show the meaning behind each piece. I want my wor k to have a voice, because I know we all have one."
