Our Photography Tour Leaders

Our collection of wildlife photography tours continues to grow and so we're working with an increasing number of expert wildlife photographers based in the UK. Here, we're delighted to introduce you to each leader and throughout this brochure, their names feature on the tours they lead.

Neil

Having grown up in South Africa, Neil learnt his craft photographing Africa's iconic species and trained as a professional guide. Now, based near Bristol, he focuses on wildlife closer to home, leading photography trips in the UK and Europe as well as a range of tours in Botswana and South Africa.

Bret Charman

Bret is a multi-award-winning wildlife photographer and a full-time member of the team at Wildlife Worldwide. He leads a number of tours for us around the world and has a particular love for African wildlife. In 2017 he won the 'Birds in Flight' category in Bird Photographer of the Year.

Nick

Nick has worked closely with us for many years to develop a unique portfolio of wildlife photography tours which are second to none! A two-time category winner in the Wildlife Photographer of the Year competition, Nick's tours form the backbone of our exciting programme.

Alex Hyde

An award-winning nature photographer and university lecturer, Alex's photography has received high acclaim, especially his spectacular and innovative macro images which include the winning entry in the 'Hidden Britain' category of the British Wildlife Photography Awards

Kevin

A talented wildlife photographer, Kevin has been awarded in numerous competitions and is best known for his incredible work with the Atlantic puffins of the UK. He has been running workshops for many years, passing on his knowledge of the natural world and photography expertise.

Mark Carwardine

Mark is an award-winning writer, zoologist, TV and radio broadcaster, and a widely published wildlife photographer. He has built up an extensive collection of wildlife and landscape images taken in over 100 countries on all seven continents and served as head judge in Wildlife Photographer of the Year.

Ben Cherry

Ben is an environmental photojournalist and natural history cameraman, with a focus on highlighting the beauty of the natural world and also how we interact with it. He has had success in international competitions, been published in numerous magazines and has helped film footage for the BBC.

Emma

Having spent many years travelling to far-flung destinations with her camera, Emma brings her love of wildlife photography, nature and travel to the Wildlife Worldwide team. Emma has travelled extensively, with Canada, Borneo and Kenya being among her favourites and has developed a real love of primates.

Andrew Mason

Andrew is a wildlife and landscape photographer who has worked as a full-time professional photographer since 2009. Based near the Peak District National Park, Andrew has taken photographs throughout the UK and worldwide, leading a range of photography tours and workshops.

Ben

Ben has travelled to many countries from a young age across North and Central America, as well as more widely in Europe. Ben's fascination for travelling helped fuel his passion for wildlife photography and coupled with his infectious enthusiasm, he's an excellent leader and can be found leading many of our tours.

Sean Weekly

Multi-award-winner and full-time photographer, Sean's work is regularly featured across a range of national and international publications. Sean has led numerous workshops in the UK and further afield in Europe at locations including Skomer, Greece, Finland, Spain and Poland.
