Elkins Resort specializes in the outdoor wedding experience utilizing the natural beauty of the Selkirk Mountains, Priest Lake, and their lakefront location in Reeder Bay. Ceremonies are most often located on the front lawn of the lodge or on the beach overlooking Priest Lake. Elkins Resort on Priest Lake caters weddings from 75 to 300 people. Accommodations consist of 30 individual cabins, with a lodging capacity of 200 people. The cabins range in size, sleeping between two and 14 people. Each cabin has a full kitchen, bathroom, and living area. Most have fireplaces and views of the lake.

In the back yard sits a 1950s Texaco Gas Station, a saloon, Victorian cottage, gazebo and pergola. The bride and her attendants are ushered up the oak staircase to the turret room to prepare for the ceremony. The groom and his men are escorted to their private changing room at the back of the house. Staff handles the set up and tear down of the tables, chairs and linens.
