Volleyball Top returnees: Seniors Lauren McGeorge, Hannah Jensen, Mackenzie McAnerin; Junior Lexy Ellsworth; sophomores Emma Avey and Sierra Chantry Top prospects: “Our seniors are all reliable, strong and great leaders,” says Selkirk coach Pam Zimmerman. “Lexy Ellsworth continues to be a strong hitter. Our younger ladies are coming along and finish off our team nicely.” Key losses: “We lost one senior last year, Crystal Cronoble,” says Zimmerman. “She was a great passer, but we gained Hannah Jensen back after a year off for a knee surgery. Hannah has taken on that position very well, as well as being a backup setter.” Overall projection of team’s chances in the Northeast 1B North League: “I think we will do well in league play,” says Zimmerman. “We made the first round of playoffs last year and expect to go farther this year.” Strengths: A solid group of return-
