Angels Among Us

Angels Among Us

The true wonder of the season came alive when St. Martin’s Catholic School presented the Grades One to Three Christmas Concert on December 16.

The students' angels emceed the event where they used humour to keep it light-hearted.

Initially, the performers’ bright and cheerful voices sang and danced to songs with delightful melodies about Christmas being their favorite time of the year, and other ones about what made the holidays special.

This was followed by the children singing Silent Night, leading to the angels narrating the story of the first Christmas, and the kids singing, Take a Walk Through Christmas.

Mary and Joseph appeared next, but the angels lost baby Jesus, who was soon found by some of the children.

The angels then announced that Jesus was our present.

They said next there are many angels among us, and they can be strangers who lend a helping hand.

The concert closed with everyone singing, ‘We Wish You a Merry Christmas’.

Every piece of this event captivated the audience as they commented about how sweet and talented the kids were.
