The True Spirit of Christmas
The True Spirit of Christmas

The powerful message that Jesus was born to give us eternal life, love and forgiveness was laced throughout St. Martin’s Catholic School Christmas Concert for Grades Four to Six on December 18.
The event started out with a group of students singing a medley of spiritual Christmas songs with their angelic voices.
This was followed by a skit where someone wanted to do everything perfect for Christmas with decorating, meal planning, entertainment and other details.
Angels of joy, peace, hope, and love appeared and spoke to this person.
At last, the girl discovered that Christmas is a celebration, not a contest. The season is about the birth of Christ and what He gave to us.
The finale was a black-light presentation called, ‘It’s About the Cross’ which ignited the profound feeling of being touched by God as the students held tubes that glowed in the dark while they sang this song.
Each of these performances was met with an appreciative applause from the audience.
