Sunshine Club Café Delivers Chicken Dinner

To celebrate Seniors Week and to have a fundraiser for the Senior Citizens Sunshine Club of Vegreville on June 3, volunteers cooked and prepared a chicken dinner which people purchased and had delivered to their house.

Dwayne Hlady, President of Sunshine Club said they did very well. “We delivered 74 meals. The community response was fantastic. We raised just under $1,000 in sales and there were about $75 in donations as well.”
