Layne Lowes commented she has taken up dancing from the time she was three.

“I do ballet, contemporary and next year, I want to do modern dancing. My favorite part is getting to meet new friends when we get into the competitions for dances and seeing how the different dances work. VSB has been like a second family to me. I know that I am always safe here. When I get on stage, it is the best feeling in the world to be able to show someone what I love to do.”

I have always been a dramatic person and I just love the innovation, and the changes in the dancing and movements. I just really, really love dancing! This year, I am graduating from high school and next year, I am moving to London where I will be going to university for contemporary dance. Eventually, my goal is to dance professionally. I am excited to go to London. I have a lot of friends who moved far away, so I know it will be fine.”

Abbe Kratko and Kiersten Dmytriw who are graduated from Vegreville Composite High School expressed that this is their final year of dancing with VSB which they have been with for 15 years. “We both have been dancing since we were three.
