The love of Christmas was traveling around Vegreville United Church when they offered their Annual Christmas Tea and Bake Sale on November 23.

Rev. Pamela Milton’s collection of 22 nativity scenes which she has been collecting for 30 years was on the stage. Rev. Milton said she plans to continue to add nativity scenes to her collection as they really capture the true meaning of Christmas - the birth of our Savior Jesus Christ. Upon entering, people could purchase raffle tickets to win some lovely door prizes. After this, Rev. Milton said a welcome prayer where she opened by thanking God they have this space to hold this event and then for everyone who was present at the tea. This tea and bake sale also included a plate of petite sandwiches and another plate of a large assortment of squares and baking goods for sale, jewelry, religious books for sale by Lamplighter Books, and more.
