Vegreville United Church presented its Annual Christmas Tea and Bake Sale on Nov.25.

There were tea, sandwiches, desserts, baked goods, jewelry, white elephant silent auction items, and door prizes at this event.

Coordinator Holly Cependa said, “We raised just under $1,500 and all proceeds went into the general account for the church.

For me, the highlight was that everything went smoothly and we didn’t run out of food.  We had lots of really good comments. As usual, we had a great team of volunteers, even some youth who participated in the Kids Klub and Obeying My God (OMG) Day Camp) Max Ordaz and Kira Konovchuk.”
