Photography project undertaken during the 2020 Novel Coronavirus Global Pandemic. National lockdown is in effect throughout the United Kingdom, as well as total isolation for the elderly and vulnerbale populations in place. Social Distancing measures have been put in place in an effort to safeguard our healthcare systems and attempt to protect key workers as well as the Vulnerable.

Documenting the community spirit of my local neighbourhood, The resilience of the human race in the face of adversity. Above all, inspiring a little fun in these trying times;

Take Me Out to the Garden is a small and intentionally humerous fashion / socially based photography project undertaken during the Coronavirus Lockdown in Bath. Here I asked a number of my neighbours if they would be interested in showcasing some of their amaxing outfits, which would otherwise be gathering dust in the closet - and potentially never worn again. What better excuse to use these gsrments associated with previously joyous events than a global pandemic?! There is soime small psychological theory behind this however, which suggests that the clothing we wear has a much larger bearing on how we feel and act than most think. The aim of this project was to inject some fun and activity into my local community as this consists majorly of older people that have limited or no social contact, with this being pushed further under lockdown rules. Here I have created a fashion portfolio style ‘lookbook’ in order to display the garments and people of my community in the most elegant way I could think of.
