NEITHER DO I CONDEMN YOU! Neither do I condemn thee; precious words divine. From the lips of Jesus, comes the sweetest chimes. Wonderful words of mercy; sing them o’er and o’er. Neither do I condemn thee; Go and sin no more! (Song) These words are based on an encounter in John 8:111. A woman, caught in the act of adultery, was brought to Jesus. The law said she should be stoned. The religious said to Jesus: “what do you say? Jesus said, “He who is without sin among you, let him throw a stone at her first.” Convicted in their conscience, people began to leave. He was left alone with the woman. All the accusers had left. The only one who could have condemned her, said to her, Neither do I condemn you; go and sin no more! Christ did not come to condemn people, but to save them!!
When a Samaritan village rejected Jesus and his message, John and James wanted call down fire from heaven to judge these people. Jesus rebuked them saying “For the Son of man did not come to destroy men’s lives but to save them.” (Lu.9:5156) Jesus came to make away for all people to be free from the judgement of their sins, and give them a better place with God for eternity. The Apostle Paul said, “Behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation.” (2Co.6:2) This is the time when God’s love and mercy is extended to all. If you have never received this free gift from God, just reach to Christ, who lives today, He will give it freely. “Whosoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved.” (Acts 2:21) If you have received, tell others that they might know, understand God’s love, and receive his free gift of eternal life

Cade’s draft party Scenes from Eskimo Joes on draft night Sam Hutchens Staff Reporter
One wait was just a few minutes. The other, three hours. Shortly after NBA commissioner Adam Silver announced the start of 2021 NBA draft, Oklahoma State point guard Cade Cunningham was selected by the Detroit Pistons with the first pick. A longer, multi-hour wait was in store for any patron seeking a table at Eskimo Joes to watch that scene play out on television. The iconic Stillwater restaurant hosted an NBA Draft watch party on Thursday night, welcoming in a full house of orange-clad guests waiting to see the next chapter of Cunningham’s basketball career. OSU President Kayse Shrum and Athletic Director Chad Weiberg joined the Cowboy and Cowgirl basketball teams in attendance. Hundreds of fans were part of the festivities, contributing to a lengthy wait for a table and a lively atmosphere. “The atmosphere is what you see in every sport here,” OSU forward Kalib Boone said. You can name every sport at OSU and they are just going to show up. Regardless if it’s somebody going to the NBA, NFL, MLB. You name it and they’re going to show up. That’s why I love this school.” The Eskimo Joes hallways were flooded with people and parking spots were hard to come by. Cunningham’s teammates and coaches, aside from Mike Boynton who joined his star at the draft,

crowded around circular tables in the middle of the wood-finished two-story restaurant. They led the boisterous cheering when Cunningham was selected — a scene which served the ESPN TV crew capturing the moment for televise well. “To have a teammate who come into college with all the hype on him, already labeled as the number one pick his senior and to see his unselfishness and his best in this moment, it’s amazing,” Boone said. “I’m happy for my dog Cade.”
Guard Rondel Walker was one of Cunningham’s OSU teammates in attendance. Walker ate a brisket sandwich and an order of sweetpepper bacon cheese fries while celebrating his teammate becoming the highest-selected OSU Cowboy in NBA history. “It’s one of those things where dreams become reality,” Walker said. “Literally. All the late-night talks in the rooms, hotel nights, away games, coming back room practice….it makes it that much more special.”
ESPN reporter Marty Smith, who also covered the draft parties of Zion Williamson and Trevor Lawrence, helped broadcast the event. “This place has two traits I love,” Smith said. “Loyalty and passion. That’s what I want and this place has it. “I thought it was so neat to be here because the team came,” Smith said. “They got to celebrate their brother.” sports.ed@ocolly.com
sports Gundy speaks on future of Big 12, OSU Dean Ruhl Sports editor Marty Smith patrolled the west end of Boone Pickens Stadium in a pressed jacket and black and red Air Jordan’s. Smith, who was in Stillwater to cover former Oklahoma State point guard Cade Cunningham’s draft party at Eskimo Joes for ESPN, made a detour to Boone Pickens Stadium to speak with OSU coach Mike Gundy. Gundy and Smith had a brief interview, where Gundy made his first public comments on the news of Oklahoma and Texas looking to leave the Big 12. Just a day after Big 12 commissioner Bob Bowlsby sent an assertive cease and desist order to Smith’s employer, ESPN, the company had a reporter speaking with one of the eight schools who were left in the dark by OU and UT. Gundy said people talk about how ultimately there will be a consolidation, and instead of a Power 5, it could shrink to a Power 4. “In my opinion, if I was in meetings or behind closed doors would I say that that’s a probability? I’d say yes,” Gundy said. Gundy continued, saying there could be teams who want to set a level higher, and the Power 5 continues, but one entity will have a substantial influence in if it happens. Television. more specifically, ESPN. “They’re the ones representing television dollars, and they make those decisions,” Gundy said. “I think at some point the leaders will get together and say, this is what we have, if this is what you will offer us. If not, it might be something else. “Ultimately that’s who’s going to make the decisions in my opinion.” For OSU specifically, Gundy said anyone who claims to know what will happen in the future is stepping out of line. He said if the league stays intact through the end
of the grant-of-rights in 2025, other conference teams could be looking to go somewhere else. “I’m not going to get involved in that because I think business is business,” Gundy said. “I know that Oklahoma State has had tremendous success, and when you look at where we we’ve been from
“We’re a good product and I think we’re very marketable,” Gundy said. sports.ed@ocolly.com

the viewers standpoint over a long period of time, people like watching Oklahoma State football.” Gundy’s Cowboys, who have rank No. 2 in wins this past decade in the Big 12 with a record of 58-31, have good stature if they do have to realign with a conference in the future.
