The Big 12 title hopes for Oklahoma State are still alive after a come from behind victory at Kansas State on Saturday. After a gutsy road win, OSU will get a bye week to get healthy before Bedlam. The Cowboys were without some key players on both sides of the ball and had several guys play that didn’t practice all week. When you add in that a right ankle injury hobbled offensive lineman Teven File photo Jenkins, there was a lot going against them. In a game that could have been easy to lose, OSU found a way to win.

“I told the team I was proud of them, they had their backs against the wall and they found a way to win on the road,” coach Mike Gundy said. “That was a good win for our team. I’m looking forward to a week off and we can get a little recovery with our guys.” The bye week is coming at the perfect time for the Cowboys, as guys such as Tylan Wallace, Chuba Hubbard, LD Brown, Kolby Harvell-Peel and Tre Sterling are dealing with injuries and can use this time to get healthy before an important stretch to finish out the regular season.
