OSU looking forward to the daunting three game slate Chris Becker Oklahoma State football is 4-0 on the season and everything is looking up for the team, but the toughest games are still ahead for the Cowboys. In the next three games, the Cowboys face Texas, No. 16 Kansas State and in-state rival Oklahoma, which are set to be some of the toughest tests for the Cowboys’ playoff hopes. This slate of three games comes on the heels of battling Iowa State, before taking on the grueling road ahead of them. Coming off the game, quarterback Spencer Sanders said the biggest takeaway is the team continues to execute the game plan. “I wouldn’t say more of learned, I would say knowing what we could do and doing it,” Sanders said. “It’s more of doing it better. It’s like I said, it’s just getting better every week and just executing better. It’s perfecting your craft and things we do and all in all those little
things build up to one big thing that changes the whole outcome of maybe that drive, possession or play. “I feel like we’re executing great, but we need to keep moving on and keep piling on. We could be amazing.” Wide receiver Dillon Stoner said he believed the Cowboys came up on the wrong end of a couple of calls, but were able to get past that and continue to play their game. “There’s always going to be some kind of chaos or commotion that we’re going to learn from and, obviously we had that against Iowa State, certain things and certain calls didn’t go our way, but it doesn’t matter,” Stoner said. “At the end of the day, it matters how we respond to that and I think we responded really well. We’ll continue to grow as a team and as an offense. “This is going to be a tough stretch, but we’re ready for it, and I’m excited to play these next few games.” The season will be mostly decided with this important three game stretch, but the team will continue to take it one game at a time, despite knowing exactly what is waiting after each hurdle in the road. “It’s obviously just taking it one game at a time right now, but there’s no question that the next three games will be

really tough and (are) going to define the rest of the season,” Stoner said. “We’re just going to worry about Texas right now and get ready for them to play them to the best of our ability. In the back of our mind, we know who’s waiting after this.”

COVID-FREE CONCERTS
The McKnight Center adapts to COVID restrictions By: Willistean Bennett Due to COVID-19 restrictions, the McKnight Center has implemented changes for how it will hold performances. The Performing Arts Center requires several rules and regulations to keep the community safe. These include face coverings, staff health screenings, social distancing and sanitation. According to the McKnight Center website, “Face masks that cover the mouth and nose are required for all guests over the age of four (4) and staff while present in The McKnight Center, in accordance with Oklahoma State University campus regulations and the City of Stillwater mask ordinance. Anyone not wearing a mask will be asked to leave and tickets will not be refunded.” The McKnight Center will not provide masks for its guests; however, there are a limited number of McKnight masks for sale at the Box Office. If the Center has to conduct contract tracing, staff require electronic tickets for every event to keep a record of each guest. According to the McKnight Center website, “Each Box Office
window will have a Plexiglas shield on the countertop in front of Box Office windows to allow for safer communication with customers. A Plexiglas divider will be stationed between the two windows to allow for a safety barrier between customers while they are conducting business. For those waiting in line, floor markers will be placed at 6’ intervals to assist with social distancing.” The Center implemented Social distancing precautions in the performance halls. Seating pods are limited to one or two seats unless families and groups who have been sheltering together request larger seating pods. The McKnight Center has also emphasized its cleaning and sanitation. According to the McKnight Center website, “Before, during, and after every event, our custodians will sanitize key touch points in public areas (door handles, lobby seating, stair rails, elevator buttons, countertops, etc.) with approved sanitation products. Between events, they will sanitize seating areas using a state-of-theart atomizing spray mister which allows for the virucide to penetrate the cloth surfaces within the halls.” C. Concerts on pg. 2
