The Cowboys are taking measures to ensure they are not the next victims. “We are masked up in meetings,” Gundy said. “We are masked up on buses. Our team meetings are outside.” Gundy said the meetings are held at tennis courts, and said the team is doing the best it can. The activities and opportunities that make a game like the Fiesta Bowl a reward for a successful season add an extra wrinkle that does not exist in a regularseason away game.
Oklahoma State has earned the right to play in one of the most important bowl games in school history. Playing, though, is no guarantee. A comprehensive look at OSU’s bowl history Dean Ruhl Sports Editor Oklahoma State has played a bowl game against World War II veterans. The Cowboys played in a game with attendance numbers so poor, it dissolved after one year. They’ve had a defensive lineman score a touchdown. They won a national championship crown that arrived 71 years later. They’ve played in a snow storm on Christmas Day in El Paso and against Eli Manning in his final collegiate game. Here is a comprehensive look at all 31, soon to be 32, bowl games OSU has competed in. Jan. 1, 1945: Cotton Bowl Oklahoma A&M (7-1) vs. TCU (7-2-1) In one of the most lopsided Cotton Bowls, A&M rushed the ball 60 times, resulting in Bob Fenimore finding the end zone twice, Jim Spavital, Joe Thomas and Mack Creage each scoring once, and the defense forcing two Horned Frogs’ turnovers. A&M accounted for 494 yards of offense, compared to TCU’s 105, as the Aggies started their bowl game history 1-0. Ohio State declined the offer following the firing of coach Earle Bruce. Dec. 30, 1988: Holiday Bowl No. 12 Oklahoma State (9-2) vs. No. 15 Wyoming (11-1) In his Heisman season, running back Barry Sanders collected five touchdowns and 222 yards against Wyoming, resulting in OSU’s largest margin of victory in a bowl game. Wyoming remained on par with OSU through the first quarter, but a 10-point second quarter, and 28-point third quarter led to a rout for the Cowboys, and the third bowl win for coach Pat Jones. FINAL: OSU 62, Wyoming 14 Fun fact: The 48-point rout was the first time in six years the Holiday Bowl was decided by more than five points. Dec. 30, 1997: Alamo Bowl No. 16 Purdue (8-3) vs. No. 24 Oklahoma State (8-3) After nearly a decade without touching the postseason, OSU returned to a bowl game in 1997, traveling to San Antonio, Texas, for the fifth edition of the Alamo Bowl. Jan. 2, 2004: Cotton Bowl Classic No. 21 Oklahoma State (9-3) vs. No. 19 Ole Miss (9-3) Guided by quarterback Eli Manning, Ole Miss edged OSU in the Cowboys first Cotton Bowl since 1945. After Manning helped the Rebels accumulate a 31-14 lead, throwing
from 259 yards, two touchdown passes and a rushing touchdown, the Cowboys, led by running back Vernand Morency scoring two touchdowns, attempted a comeback, trailing by three with 4:38 remaining. Dec. 29, 2004: Alamo Bowl No. 24 Oklahoma State (7-4) vs. No. 25 Ohio State (7-4) Lacking starting quarterback Troy Smith, who would eventually win a Heisman Trophy, Ohio State throttled OSU in its return to the Alamo Bowl. The Cowboys avoided a shutout when running back Shaun Willis scored on a 4-yard run at the midway point of the fourth quarter, and starting back Vernand Morency was held to 20 yards by a swarming Buckeye defense. Future NFL receiver Ted Ginn Jr. led Ohio State receivers with six catches for 78 yards, and running back Lydell Ross tallied 99 yards. FINAL: Ohio State 33, OSU 7 Fun fact: The game was broadcast by ESPN, with broadcasters Mike Tirico, Lee Corso and Kirk Herbstreit calling the game. After OSU led for the majority of the game, Alabama strung together 14 straight points in the fourth quarter, including a 86-yard punt return by Javier Arenas, to tie the game at 31. The OSU offense, led by quarterback Bobby Reid drove down the field, allowing Ricks to score the game-winner. FINAL: OSU 34, Alabama 31 Fun fact: This remains the only game Alabama and OSU have played in football. BE DEFINITE!
It has been a number of years ago that the Lord Jesus challenged me to be definite in making myself available to him. I was attending church regularly. My wife and I were giving to the work of God. We were not doing anything that would be considered wrong in the eyes of God. I thought I was available to Christ. As I prayed about this, I felt the Lord wanted me to spend more consistent time with him. I decided to get up each morning and spend an hour in prayer and in the Bible. The first morning when I knelt at the living room couch, I went to sleep. What a commitment! However, I did not give up. The next morning with my Bible in hand, I walked back and forth across the living room praising, praying and reading the Bible. I was being definite, not perfect, but definite.
O’Colly
King David said, “My heart says of you (God), ‘Seek his Face! Your face, Lord, I will seek.’ (Ps.27:8) David was a man after God’s own heart. He certainly was not perfect, but one who sought after and followed God. Being definite with God has such great reward. He is the Good Shepherd that will faithfully lead our lives into the best and lasting way. As the Lord challenges our lives in various areas of obedience and service, It is so important to be definite; to be clear, to be wholehearted. Go all the way, and do that thing(s) you are challenged to do. Don’t compromise! Possibly God is challenging you about a definite time in prayer and in scripture. Maybe it is in giving; not just occasionally, but often and consistently Maybe it is Christian service; helping is mission work; worthwhile projects. Go for it! Be definite. You will find God definite, and there will be lasting fruit and satisfaction.

Rowdy Reviews Tiger King 2 episode 4
Rowdy Baribeau Staff Reporter
Episode four : “The Lyin’ King” Episode four switches from the investigation of Don Lewis’ disappearance and Carole Baskin’s potential involvement, to what’s going on with Jeff Lowe, James Garretson and Allen Glover. This episode is when things get weird and confusing for “Team Joe.” It also foreshadows certain allegiances switching sides and banding together for Joe’s freedom. One of the biggest turns in this season happens in this episode when Allen Glover recants his sworn statement. In the episode there are also accounts of Tim Stark’s trek to the Greater Wynnewood Zoo. Stark took his trailer filled with animals, in nearly 95-degree weather, 13 hours from St. Louis to Wynnewood. The trailer did not have food, water or air conditioning. When it arrived to Wynnewood, the trailer did have fecal matter everywhere and contained deceased animals. Glover recalled burying 30plus animals that day. Glover went as far to say he deserved to be in jail alongside Exotic. As for Tim, he has experienced legal troubles. Additionally, allegations of animal malpractice and endangerment.
