The pattern of the dynamic tubes imitates the urban landscape around the site, from Elizabeth Street to the infamous historical building of the Royal Exhibition in Melbourne to La Trobe Street. This design strikes a significant resemblance to the traditional design of mini-golf hazard, placing the famous building on the route; a point of difference is just that the Royal Exhibition Building is formed by tubes. Visitors can have a great view of the real Royal Exhibition Building when playing golf, which will create an interesting contrast with imitated one on the course. Moreover it is placed on the roof where visitor can view the whole city view.
SITE STARTING POINT Elizabeth Street Rotal Exhibition Building END POINT Palace
Translucent plastic is used for the whole golf course to allow light to shine through. It also provides a simple yet strong visual impact. Size of tube: Gap between tubes: Size of golf ball:

Moreover, it create a visual connection with neon sign ii. Tubes will be lighted up after the ball hit it. iii. Exhibition Building will light up when golf ball pass thought it. iv. All the tubes that were lighted up will shine again at the same time when the ball gets into the hole

Pavilion - Sculpture in city Aesthetic may become a serious problem for architecture after introducing Ancient Greece on aesthetic theory. Human expect higher appreciation of beauty, not only body shape, but also building art. Having a sculptural, aesthetic appearance will give a strong impression to human undeniably, however, even professional may over emphasis on tasteful perfect image, omit spatial organization and human comfort.
DYNAMIC SEED Type: Location:
Sculpture 20-28 Latrobe Street, Melbourne, Australia
Wyndham city is keep developing in a continuous succession phases and the former was often wiped off in the exercise of growth. ‘Dynamic Seed’ is an attempt to recall the history of Wyndham, which is a collective of past, present and future in a single rapid context. In this, adopting “growing seeds” as the theme to evocate the memory of green land and respect to existing immediate context for envisioning urban fabric of Wyndham in the future.
Light + Structure + Space + line = FORMS 1. Simple surface are reference from site boundaries which allow flexible geometry for development 2. Development of undulating surface specific to site landscape and analogous diagram 3. Curve is added and manipulated according to design ambition of creating exciting experience, creating unexpected visual experience 4. Further development on the form to fit with design narrative which is about past, present and future
Part I - Past Wyndham started to developed. Curvy shape is taken from the analogy of seeds. Part II - Present Wyndham is struggling its rapid urban development and the loss of natural area. They are still figuring out a balance between nature and urban planning. Thus tunnel is intense to represent the stuggle and at a standstill.
B
Part III - Future Sculpture opens up to show success of Wyndham in future. Sculpture is seperated into two parts as a representation of stabilization of development.

To create visual appearance of driving environment, particularly at western gateway entry to Wyndham city, a unique art form offers community and tourists’ access to art, and creates a stronger sense of identity of Wyndham City. The surface with dynamic fluid texture contoured with elegant movement of bush plants forms, not only give visual experience, but also provides exciting optical illusion of moving pattern of static ornamentation. Drivers will undergo short, brief shade from dark towards light region, giving a whole new level of experience of rapid travel, symbolize a journey towards “Better hope: Imagine of tomorrow”

As stated on our design ambitions, we wanted to create a sculpture that enables the drivers to experience while driving thought it. With the design, we successfully achieve it by creating individual dynamic panels that continuously changing as one driving through it. The sculpture is divided into three main parts: PART A: Half-canopy The drivers experience the shadow casted by canopy, the darkest part of the whole sculpture. They will experience the change of form to be more vibrant and intense as driving thought it. PART B: Tunnels It is a semi open space since the panel are not connect to the ground. The change of dynamic form allows the viewers to experience the vigorous change. PART C: open space The panels become less intense, where the sculpture is separate in both side of road. The transformation from tunnels to an open space, which emphasis strong message that the feeling of brightness and openness. It is represent “welcoming to the dynamic Wyndham city.
CRYSTAL HOUSE Type: Location:
Single family house Somerset Road, Kowloon Tong, Hong Kong
Families in Hong Kong are facing a problem of alienation between family member. Children started to become rebel since they have plenty of time to communite with their parents. Moreover, they would mainly stay in their bedroom aftering coming back to home. There is weak of relationship between family. Single house provide space for family to live in, but the most important is to strengthen the relationship with family by building a media for the family to stay in and communicate.
Shelter / Home Dwellings help to set out boundary for individual family unit in an urban city. House is simulacrum of crystal structure that forms under compression of motes, which recrystallize the joint between atoms and molecule. Community spaces such as living and dining area are the most important elements in an unit. It is the only place that family members may have opportunity to stay with the others and chat face to face. It is a medium of communication that unite between family members. In additional to the shape of the house, it imitate the formation of crystal which polymerize of different minerals, irregular crystal blocks are interlocked with each compactly.

You will start the excited experience when getting into the building from car showroom entrance. Emerging when getting into a bright high headroom place from a dark low one. You may want to figure out what’s going on behind that stressed dark space, the light effect in the entrance would visually divide the space to improve the overall experience.
OFFICE & GOLF HAZAED
When arriving to the showroom in the 2/F, a dark room with strong horizontal linear sun light would be projected from the wall, which will highlight the most important part of the area. The car surface will reflect the light, creating a dynamic effect. Furthermore, to improve the lighting effect on the vertical wall’s opening, the wall edge with different angle will provide a certains brightness on the edge but it still keep the simplisty expression. The colour will change in different, which is just like a changeable picture stick on the wall and decorate the interior space.

VELOCITY Type: Location:
High-rise office headquarters for financial company Ice House Road, Central, Hong Kong
Central is the heart of financial business district in Hong Kong. Most of the famous financial towers are located there, e.g. IFC, exchange Square, HSBC etc, where adding a new financial headquarter strengthens the prosperous image strongly. Moreover flow of vehicles (on Connaught Rd C) is quite fast, which is similar to operation of a financial headquarter, where everything is done as fast as possible, since ‘TIME IS MONEY’, which sheds light upon the theme of my design, ‘VELOCITY’.
