Theodoros Fouskas

Dr. Theodoros Fouskas is a sociologist and teaches at the Hellenic Police School of Further Education and Training (Greece). He specialises in immigration, immigrant labour and community organisations. His recent publications include: Nigerian Immigrants in Greece: Low-Status Work, Community, and Decollectivization (Nova Science Publishers/2014) Contemporary Immigration in Greece: A Sourcebook (co-editor/EPLO Publications/2014). He has published articles and given presentations on the effects of precarious, low-status/low-wage work on the organisation and representation of immigrants, using qualitative methods. He has participated as project director and researcher in various social surveys for immigrants and other vulnerable groups.
