How to Use the Guide

Dear Parent/Guardian,

Ohio Soccer Association is pleased to provide this guide, with the help of leagues and clubs throughout Ohio, for your use as we head into the 2023-24 Season.

Whether you are in the midst of your Spring season, a well-practiced veteran of the soccer scene, or new to soccer altogether, we sincerely hope this guide will aide you in your journey.

We have many great member grassroots & community-based (recreational) leagues and competitive (travel) clubs throughout Ohio. Not all of them opted to enter the guide. To view the leagues and clubs in your area, please use the Play OSA locator map on our website!

How To Use:

The guide is organized by metro area/district, then by alphabetical order (for the most part).

Each ad in the guide contains at least one web link to help guide you to the correct league or club site You can click the link on the page to be taken to their website.

For more than 40 years, Miami Valley Youth Soccer Association (MVYSA) has provided boys and girls in a 12-county area (Preble, Montgomery, Greene, Clark, Champaign, Logan, Shelby, Darke, Mercer, Auglaize, Fayette, Miami) the opportunity to advance their soccer skills in a fun and competitive environment.

MVYSA was incorporated in 1980 as part of the Ohio South Youth Soccer program, and the organization has remained true to its original goals of sportsmanship, skill development, and enjoyment. More than 200 teams from a wide range of clubs both large and small compete in MVYSA each year.

MVYSA organizes competition for both spring and fall seasons each year, with divisions organized to allow for equitable competition for every participating team. Flexible eightgame schedules allow for opportunities to participate in tournaments and other competitive events, with awards given to the top two finishers each season in each division.

Coaches and club administrators can count on outstanding support from the MVYSA office centrally located in Dayton, starting by a twice annual general meeting. Administrative assistance is provided throughout the registration and carding process, each division is guided by an association board member, and the league introduced its own referee assigning system in 2022.

MVYSA also provides a variety of popular member benefits, including a college scholarship awards program, affordable annual summer camps for strikers and goalkeepers, and an awards program that celebrates a coach, volunteer, and administrator of the year.
