Capital Campaign

Throughout the 2019-20 school year, The Pegasus School was home to a major construction and renovation effort. However, this dream took flight long before, with careful planning by the Head of School, Board of Directors and a capital campaign committee. The top priority of our school’s master plan has been the newly-opened Science and Technology Center — not only for these two subjects but also added learning space long needed for middle school students and foreign language. Additionally, the Horowitz Family Quad provides students with more outdoor space to learn, socialize or as a respite from the day’s activity. Moreover, Frieden Family Middle School has been renovated, and our sixth- and seventh-grade students have gained optimal learning space with the expansion of classrooms. Now, for the first time in 20 years, the Pegasus campus has been updated with new and refreshed spaces.

Over 140 of our current and alumni families generously supported this notable project. It is remarkable to have such a giving community of individuals who not only seek to better their own child(ren)’s education, but for the generations of Pegasus students to follow. This supportive nature speaks to founder Dr. Laura Hathaway’s ideology for the school she envisioned — helping our students build wings to soar.
