I’M OVER 65 –CAN I GET MY SHOT FOR FREE?
You are entitled to receive the Fluad Quad vaccine formulated to provide better & increased protection for the over 65s. Your flu vaccine is funded by the Australian Government. We can administer the free quadrivalent influenza vaccine for a charge of $14.95. Unfortunately, pharmacists cannot provide you a completely free flu shot as we can not bulk bill for the vaccination. You will need to visit your GP if you would like your vaccination free of charge.
EGG-FREE OPTION
Cell-based FluCelVax Quadrivalent $49.95
The Cell-based Flu Vaccination is produced via newer medical technology, where the virus is grown in host cells instead of the traditional egg-based vaccine. If you wish to avoid egg products, you can now choose the cell-based manufactured FluCelVax vaccine instead.
