Each taking off with a BZ$150 donation of fuel from Thunderbirds Marina, a total of 11 boats left each day at dawn for the weekend tournament. It was a tough one for some with only five boats returning with qualifying fish on day one and four on day two. A few who missed the strict return deadline were disqualified, with one boat reportedly suffering from engine trouble. Nevertheless, the teams who made the cut, walked away with big smiles and attractive cash prizes.
