Pleasance: A pleasure ground; a feeling of pleasure or delight

Welcome to the Pleasance programme for our 39th Festival Fringe!

We are thrilled to bring you an incredible line-up of shows and events, showcasing some of the most exciting and innovative talent from around the world. Our diverse programme offers something for everyone, from great comedy and theatre to music, children’s shows and dance.

At the Pleasance, we are a charity committed to supporting emerging artists and providing a platform for new and diverse voices. This year, our development arm, Pleasance Futures, is proud to support 23 shows from across the entire country.

We would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to our partners and supporters, without whom none of this would be possible. We would also like to give a special thank you to Jim Aitken MBE, who retires from the University Centre for Sports and Exercise. CSE has been a gracious host to the Pleasance for over twenty years, and we are grateful for Jim’s unwavering support.
