Already storming all across the circuit, this bright, bold and ever so slightly disturbing new star is most definitely one to watch. Winner of the Leicester Mercury 2014.

AART WITH MIKEY 2ND JULY 19:45 Get inside your now, and journey into art with Mikey. “A show that makes me laugh, feel good and leave my nostrils filled with that reassuring smell of plasticine - just about the greatest thing ever.” ★★★★ Skinny

Richard Gadd: The underground comedian returns, following in the footsteps of the “undisputed buzz comedy of last year” (Guardian) Waiting for Gaddot, which received rave reviews, sell-out crowds and an Amused Moose Best Show 2015 Comedy Award.

SEAN MCLOUGHLIN 4TH JULY 21:00 You can’t keep a flawed man down. Sean McLoughlin returns. Another hour of supreme stand-up from “the best comedian you haven’t heard of yet.” Time Out

EMMA SIDI & TWINS 6TH JULY 19:45 After last year’s critically acclaimed debut, Emma Sidi is back and with her she’s bringing passionate, obsessive and revengeful character comedy. Think Mexican passion, soap operatic pain and transglobal heartache. We’re talking intercontinental emotion on a fringe comedy scale. With dancing. Yeah, there’s that too. This is no soap opera. This is Telenovela. Twins: Identical twins Annie McGrath and Jack Barry (as seen on ITV2’s @ elevenish) preview their upcoming Edinburgh Fringe show, Two Balls In A Bag, with their trademark hybrid of sketch and stand-up comedy.

FELICITY WARD

KIERAN HODGSON & LOU SANDERS 5TH JULY 19:45 Kieran Hodgson: In 2003 Kieran Hodgson heard the music of Gustav Mahler and decided to write a symphony. 13 years later Kieran returns to the Fringe with a violin and a story about falling in love and attempting something far beyond your abilities. Lou Sanders: People tend to like comedy and this show will have some of that for sure. A big show for a nice audience. She really brings a can do attitude to the whole thing. Credits include As Yet Untitled, Russell Howard’s Good News & Stewart Lee’s Comedy Vehicle. Recommended in Elle, The Guardian & Vogue.

BRENNAN REECE 8TH JULY 19:45 Hello! I’m the English Comedian of the Year and this is my debut show. In Australia it sold out - I know that sounds like bragging, but I don’t know another way to explain that people liked it. I’ve also appeared on BBC, ITV, E4 and supported Joe Lycett on tour. Still bragging. I just really like doing comedy and if you come and see me, I reckon you’ll like it too.

12TH JULY 19:45 In 2015 Felicity wrote a show about mental illness and her bumhole (IBS). Much to her surprise more people saw it than her immediate family and a guy called Gavin.

At the Edinburgh Fringe Festival it was the 3rd best reviewed comedy show. Always one to flog a dead horse she is writing another show about mental illness called: 50% More Likely To Die.

LOLLY ADEFOPE 20TH JULY 19:45

GARRETT MILLERICK 19TH JULY 21:00

After a sell-out Fringe debut, Lolly Adefope presents her second hour of character comedy. “The sort of natural charisma that can’t be held back.” Guardian

On his misguided quest to follow his dreams, Garrett Millerick got locked in a shipping container by Eminem, directed hip-hop videos for deluded city traders and once made a feature documentary about a ballroom dancer trying to save all the children of Birmingham from certain destruction. This is his story.

RHYS JAMES 20TH JULY 21:00 Don’t worry about it. Honestly, it’s fine. Just get a ticket to see Rhys James bash out another hour of splash-hit, classic stand-up and definitely cool and not pretentious poetry and all will be forgiven.

KIERAN BOYD & TIFF STEVENSON

NAZ OSMANOGLU & AHIR SHAH

21ST JULY 19:45

22ND JULY 19:45

Kieran Boyd: Kieran presents his debut stand up show about how weird we all are. Featuring stupid jokes about his exponentially worsening hangovers, warped eulogies to his mad uncle, and a far-too-thorough examination of public toilet etiquette. He likes heavy metal and grammar, so this will be wild, but also correct. Tiff Stevenson is a stand-up comedian, actor and writer. Her thought provoking and engaging style have seen her consistently play to packed audiences; Tiff ’s latest solo show Optimist received rave reviews at the Edinburgh Festival 2014.

Naz Osmanoglu has hit the London comedy circuit running. Already a fringe veteran with acclaimed, irreverent sketch trio WitTank, he is now diverting his angry Anglo-Turkish energy to stand-up as well as sketch comedy. Ahir Shah is, at the time of writing, a funny and extant comedian. His sharp, intellectual brand of stand-up features a blend of emotional frankness, poetic language, and jokes.

IAIN STIRLING & JARLATH REGAN JACK BARRY & ADAM HESS 23RD JULY 19:45 Jack Barry is probably the only stand up on the circuit with a degree in Chinese. What a waste. After excitedly stumbling his way around the stand up and sketch circuits, performing at nights for CKP, Knock 2 Bag, the Invisible Dot and the BBC Comedy Tent in Edinburgh, Jack then went on to support James Acaster on the UK tours of Edinburgh Award-nominated shows Prompt and Lawnmower. Adam Hess: Starting his stand-up career in 2011, Adam showed himself to be one of the most exciting new acts in the country, winning the Chortle Student Comedy Award and taking a runner-up place in Leicester Square Theatre New Act of the Year award that same year.

24TH JULY 19:45 Iain Stirling burst onto the comedy scene whilst studying for a Law degree at Edinburgh University, reaching the finals of both the Paramount Funniest Student competition, and the Chortle Student Comedian of the Year competition. Jarlath Regan: Award-winning comedian, writer and broadcaster, Jarlath Regan has gained a reputation with the industry and audiences for his uplifting, inventive and relentlessly funny stand-up.

HAYLEY ELLIS & CARL DONNELLY 25TH JULY 19:45 Hayley Ellis: Hayley has performed at the Edinburgh Festival as part of The Comedy Zone, the Fringe’s longest running and most prestigious stand-up showcase. Carl Donnelly: “Excellent, fast-rising comic with pacy anecdotal routines” Sunday Times

ANNIE MCGRATH & ED GAMBLE 26TH JULY 19:45 Annie McGrath is a comedy writer and performer who made her debut character comedy and stand-up solo performance in Edinburgh in 2015. She has been shortlisted for the Funny Women comedy writing award. Ed Gamble is a stand-up comedian, writer and actor. “An ability to open his mouth and spontaneously say something hysterically funny.” Guardian

MATT WINNING & ANDY ZALTZMAN 27TH JULY 19:45 Matt Winning is one of the most exciting, unique and imaginative new stand-up and character comedians in the UK. The Scottish comic’s eccentric and idiosyncratic act is a whirlwind of ideas, combining an original approach to one-liners, acute observations and shouting loudly. Andy Zaltzman: Don’t miss your chance to see Andy try out new material for his Edinburgh Fringe show! ”The best political comedian in the business.” Time Out

MARK COOPER-JONES & MATT FORDE 29TH JULY 19:45

KIERAN BOYD & CARL DONNELLY 28TH JULY 19:45 Kieran Boyd: He’s the one who played all the girl parts in Fringe sketch veterans WitTank. “Impressively funny... Terrific material” Scotsman Carl Donnelly: “Donnelly has developed a style that is the antithesis of the loud, sweaty, manic comic so prevalent on the telly and live tours at the moment. This is stand up with valium: near horizontal levels of louche that take the mundane stories of everyday life and turns them into stretches of self deprecating silliness.” Guardian

Mark Cooper-Jones: With much of his material derived from his past experiences of teaching Geography, Mark (Sir) is an authoritative stand up with a penchant for rules, countries and capitals tests. Matt Forde is one of the country’s most in-demand satirists. “Thank goodness for Matt Forde.” Mail on Sunday
