VIKKI STONE 2ND FEB 7:45PM £5 This is a work-in-progress piano play through of Vikki Stone’s debut orchestral work, which will begin performances over the summer of 2017. Dubbed as “Peter and The Wolf but with jokes”, this performance is with PIANO ONLY, as 64 musicians are a bit of a squeeze in the Pleasance studio. But come, and see if the jokes work.

BRYONY TWYDLE 3RD FEB 7:45PM £5 Bryony Twydle (Funny Women Semi Finalist 2015, BBC Radio 4’s Sketchorama, one fifth of award winning sketch group The Jest) brings you her solo work in progress character show ahead of the Edinburgh Fringe. Come prepared for her warped and wonderful characters and a bit of audience participation thrown in too... if you like that sort of thing.

Funmbi embarked on a spring 2016 tour, including two sell-out runs at the Soho Theatre, following the success of his sold-out Edinburgh show Funmbi Omotayo: Legal Immigrant. The show follows Funmbi‘s childhood travels, from London to Lagos and back again, highlighting the hilarious stories that have come from him being a fish out of water.

DARREN HARRIOTT 9TH FEB 7:45PM £5 Darren Harriott is one of the most exciting up-and-coming comedians on the circuit. In 2016 he appeared on Russell Howard’s Stand Up Central, supporting Jimmy Carr; and he also headed to the Edinburgh Festival as part of the prestigious Pleasance Comedy Reserve. In 2017, Darren will be performing his debut Edinburgh hour.

KEN CHENG & ANDY FIELD 15TH FEB 7:45PM £5 Ken Cheng burst onto the UK comedy scene after reaching the final of the 2015 BBC Radio New Comedy Award. He recently starred in his own Top Ten on BBC Three, which was released earlier this year. In 2015, Andy Field won the Chortle Student Award with his unique style and fresh approach to traditional stand up. Following on from a successful run in Edinburgh of his 2016 show Roar, Andy will be returning to Edinburgh in 2017 with a brand new hour of sketch meets stand up.

13TH FEB 7:45PM £5 Alasdair won New Act of the Year (formerly Hackney Empire) in 2014 and has featured on BBC radio as a comedian and sketch writer. He’s performed standup across the UK, in the Glastonbury Cabaret Tent and at the Edinburgh Fringe.

Please note tickets sold are nonrefundable and cannot be exchanged. Latecomers may not be admitted. ÂŁ1 booking fee per ticket, capped at ÂŁ5.

PARKING Metered on-street parking is available outside the theatre Mon to Fri 10am 4:30pm with free parking evenings and weekends.

On performance days the Box Office will remain open until the start of the final performance. Tickets can be collected anytime during Box Office opening hours or posted to you for an additional 50p.

ACCESS

Pleasance Theatre strives to provide access for all. Our Main House is fully accessible via a lift from street level, we have infrared hearing system in both performance spaces, accessible toilets and Guide Dogs are welcome. Sadly at present our StageSpace does not have step free access. Our aim is to make your visit as enjoyable as possible for further information or to discuss any access requirements please contact the Box Office.
