I founded Faceplant Dreams in 2008 to curate a brand that indulges connoisseurs of luxury who value relaxation and deep abiding sleep.

I have early memories of my hand skimming the bolts of fabric in our local fabric store. My fingers paused by their own volition on the smooth silks and buttery blends. This is where my awareness of luxury was born. As my career led me around the globe and through the worlds’ textile markets, my palate matured. Too much time spent in airports and hotels taught me to value coming home to the transformative splendor of comfort and relaxation.

Karl Lagerfeld summed it up perfectly when he described luxury as “the ease of a t-shirt in a very expensive dress”. I rely on this axiom as a foundation to select only the finest fibers that inspire through both form and function.

We are actively committed to our local community and commit 3%+ of our profits to support disadvantaged students through Academy Prep of Tampa. In our neighborhood, the average high school graduation rate is 50%. $500 opening order $200 reorders 2 per SKU (does not apply to prepacks or displays)

SHIPPING

Wholesale orders typically ship 2 business days after receipt from our warehouse in Ybor City, FL. This schedule may vary slightly during high volume seasons.

MAP PRICING

Minimum advertised price (MAP) is 2x wholesale. We require all retailers to honor our MAP policy, this includes online. Sales and promotional pricing are allowed but must include an end date not to exceed 14 days. Abuse of promotional pricing will be considered a violation of MAP policy and we will stop shipping to the offending retailer.

PROFIT PARTNERS

We don’t print MSRP pricing on our tags allowing retailers to define pricing based on your local market potential. On our retail website, the lowest markup on any item is 2.1x wholesale. The average markup is 2.3-2.4x. On socks and slippers, the markup is 2.7X wholesale. We build room in the pricing for our retail partners to profit without competition from us.

TERRITORY RESPECT

Faceplant Dreams is respectful of territory and limits sales to competitive neighboring stores for retailers who are strongly committed to the brand. Commitment is demonstrated by purchasing a minimum of $25,000 annually, consistent orders, committed retail space, and strong display and promotion of the brand.

SELLING ONLINE

Faceplant is a boutique brand and is committed to our traditional brick and mortar retailers, but we cannot ignore the online marketplace. If you are an approved Faceplant brick and mortar retailer, we encourage you to use your store website to your competitive advantage and require that you respect our basic MAP policy, which is wholesale x 2. If you are strictly an e-commerce wizard with exceptional customer service and respect for MAP pricing and brand identity, let’s talk. Please email Kevin@FaceplantDreams.com to discuss how a partnership will benefit all of us.

ORDER DISCREPANCIES AND RETURNS

Please review all shipments upon receipt. Shipping discrepancies or shortages must be addressed within 7 days of delivery so we can review packing cameras and box weights. We will resolve any concerns promptly.

Wholesale returns/exchanges will be considered for up to 30 days, must be undamaged and in original packaging with all tags attached and may incur restocking fees. We require an email photo and description of any damaged goods to info@faceplantdreams.com to issue a Return Authorization (RA) or credit. Any return or exchange without an RA will not be processed, credited or refunded.

PAYMENT

We accept all credit cards and payment by direct deposit or ACH. That doesn’t work? We’ll email you a copy of the total sales order and ship the day after your check arrives or your credit card payment clears. Hospital Gift Shops, Hotels, Casinos or multi-point stores with a consolidated Accounts Payable Department may be considered for limited terms with a completed credit application.

APPLICATION FOR CREDIT/TERMS

Credit (terms) may be offered to major accounts with multi-point stores and a consolidated administrative office. We have partnered with Blue Sky Capital to provide credit/loans on a limited basis for our customers. Our finance partner has strict guidelines regarding how we extend credit. They require our “Credit Application and Agreement for a Business Account” form is completed in its entirety. Please note: Must include company banking information and account number. Must be signed by an officer or principal of the entity requesting credit.

COMMISSIONS FOR CREDIT/TERM CUSTOMERS

Commissions will be paid only after Faceplant is paid on the invoice. Faceplant will copy the rep on overdue invoices and request your assistance with collections if and when this occurs. Commissions will not be paid on any invoices more than 60 days overdue or those turned over to collections.

FACEPLANT DIRECT ORDER POLICY

Any account that is being regularly serviced by their rep will be commissioned to the rep. If it’s determined that a store is not being serviced, we reserve the right to temporarily credit “House” for the commissions until the rep takes action to rectify the situation.

FACEPLANT WEBSITE SALES

We’ve invested heavily in robust wholesale and retail websites. Active stores from repped areas will continue to be encouraged to visit their rep/rep group website to purchase Faceplant, and rep group links are featured in every email we send. (Up to 3 emails per week to wholesale accounts/reps.) If an active repped store places an order on our site, commissions will be paid as normal. Inactive or new accounts who place their first order on our website will be treated as an out-of-territory show order. The rep will not receive commission on that order but will be copied with all details and encouraged to solicit future orders and build the relationship.

CREDIT CARDS DETAILS, PLEASE.

We work hard to communicate promptly when cards won’t go through. Your customer’s order naturally falls to the bottom of the stack when it requires repeated requests to secure accurate card details. Please ensure expedient shipping by submitting accurate details with the order.

• Customer Email address and phone number

If the card fails, we email the customer and the rep to request updated card details. As the rep, please recognize this email as our request for your assistance in securing the information to process the order.
