SOCS USER GUIDE
SOCS
SOCS is an online system that we use to manage all co curricular activities and sporting fixtures in both the Junior and Senior School. It provides a one stop shop for you to see and manage your child's co curricular activities including clubs and fixtures.
SOCS can be accessed via the Parent Portal, Linked here
You will receive log in details from Helpdesk
Once signed in to My School Portal, you can access SOCS by clicking the
SOCS link NB it is important that your browser log in matches the log in for My School Portal.
SOCS
For signing up to clubs we offer a two stage system. The first is a preferences system in which you will outline your child's preferences for activities for each day, with our aim being to provide each pupil with at least one of the their first choice preferences across the week. Once you have selected your clubs for each day you should select the 'No more day clubs selected' as this prevents the system randomly assigning any further clubs for your preferences beyond what you have already selected.
The system will then allocate activities to pupils, ensuring that every pupil is assigned at least one of their first choice activities across the week.
The second stage is a period of 'clearing', where parents will be able to automatically sign up to any activity which still has space.
