Respiratory Therapy
Offered on an inpatient and outpatient basis. Respiratory therapy includes oxygen therapy, pulmonary function testing and EKG testing.
Rehabilitation Therapy
The rehabilitation therapy department offers physical therapy, occupational therapy and speech therapy to treat patients in the hospital and on an outpatient basis with a physician order for the treatment of injuries, stroke rehabilitation, pediatric therapy, orthopedic disorders and wound care.
Same Day Surgery
Both general and specialized surgical procedures are performed daily at Memorial Hospital and Manor’s same day surgery unit. In addition to general surgical procedures, advanced orthopedic procedures such as arthroscopy and arthroplasty (total joint replacement) are performed routinely. Cataract removal, or phacoemulsification, is also done on an outpatient basis. Other outpatient surgeries include: eye surgeries, urological procedures, ENT surgeries, gynecological surgery, endoscopy and colonoscopy. Laparoscopic surgeries are routinely performed.

Diagnostic services include echocardiography, CT (computerized tomography) scanning, nuclear medicine, stress testing, digital mammography, laparoscopic surgery, endoscopy, osteoporosis screening, magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), arthrography, cardiac ultrasound, carotid ultrasound and Holter monitoring.

While Tifton serves as ABAC’s residential campus, South Georgia residents can begin their college experience in Bainbridge as well.
Located in the heart of Southwest Georgia, the ABAC- Bainbridge site includes 173 acres of oak and pine trees close to the beautiful Flint River. Students who attend classes in Bainbridge are given the opportunity to earn a Bachelor of Science in Business and Nursing without transferring to a different location. Students can also earn the Associate of Science in Core Curriculum (General Studies pathway) and the Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN leading to the RN) at this site. Students can complete the first two years of the B.S. programs in Biology, History and Government, and Writing and Communication at Bainbridge before transferring to ABAC Tifton for the final two years. Bainbridge Decatur County Recreation Authority
With 16 baseball and softball fi elds, fi ve basketball courts, soccer and football fi elds, the Bill Reynolds Sports Park, owned by the BDRCA has something for every sports fan.
The BDCRA is a Municipal Authority, supported by various revenue sources: taxpayer funds from Bainbridge and Decatur County residents, program fees, rental fees and grants. A board of directors, which is made up of both Decatur County and Bainbridge representatives, manages the Authority. The Bainbridge City Council and the Decatur County Commission are charged with selecting their representatives, who each serve one to three-year terms. The Board works closely with BDCRA’s Executive Director, who is in charge of dayto-day operations, budgeting and manages the full-time staff. Anyone interested in serving on the BDCRA Board should apply through the City Council or the County Commission, respectively. Mission Statement: To inspire and empower the residents of Bainbridge and Decatur County, of all ages and diversities, by providing fun competitive sports, special events and safe facilities that encourage health and wellness to strengthen individuals and our community.

Bill Reynolds Tennis Facility opened in 2005. There are currently 14 courts and two Pickleball courts. With a pristine 18-hole Golf Course, a newly renovated Olympic sized pool and the area’s only clay court tennis facilities, families are sure to want to become part of the legacy at the Bainbridge Country Club. BCC just celebrated their 100-year milestone anniversary. Since 1921, families have been making memories at the club. Through the direction of Golf Course Superintendent Richard Ivrin, the fairways and greens are in great playing condition. This was a tall task after the destruction Hurricane Michael did to the course, but the crew has worked really hard to make the course one of the finest in the area. New Director of Golf, Rick Pearce, is set to provide members and the community with top tier instruction for their golf games. Crave at the Club provides a great dining experience with Chef Lori Shiver’s creativity and culinary abilities. The Club provides a full banquet facility for event rentals and the social calendar for membership is full of activities like steak and cards night, twilight golf, movies by the pool, and trivia nights.

The Boat Basin has something for everyone. Kids can ride their bikes on the pump track, while gym enthusiasts use the fi tness court. Nature observers can walk the nature trail and say hello to our resident emu and donkey.
History
The Earle May Boat Basin Park was founded in 1921. The park boasts one of Bainbridge's most historic homes, the McKenzie-Reynolds house, which was built by Guy McKenzie, where former Mayor B.K. Ryenolds grew up. It now serves as the Bainbridge-Decatur County Chamber of Commerce.

The Public Fitness Court, located in Chason Park is part of the National Fitness Campaign and the first of its type in the state of Georgia. It was made possible by the City of Bainbridge, Collaborative Impact for Decatur County and local fitness trainers who can teach others how to properly use the equipment. It is a bodyweight circuit training system designed for adults of all ages and abilities.

Bike tracks and pump tracks are a fun and unique way to get to play and exercise outside. They are a great way to instill a love of riding at a very young age. Riders of all ages love exploring the endless adventures bike parks have to offer, where on their balance bike or pedal bike. The Pump Track is the first installation of a future Bainbridge BMX bike track.

Nature Trail and there are picnic tables nearby. All the animals love to receive treats from the young and the old.
Bainbridge Nature Trail
The Nature Trail is a 3.5 mile moderately trafficked loop trail located near the Earle May Boat Basin Recreation Area. It features scenic veiws of the river and is good for all skill levels of walkers. The trail is primarily used for walking, running, nature trips and bird watching. Dogs are also able to use this trail, but must be kept on a leash.

Seminole State Park
Located just 23 miles west of Bainbridge on Highway 253, Seminole State Park covers 604 beautiful, wooded acres and contains cottages, campsites, picnic facilities, a lake, a beach, miniature golf, fishing docks, boat and kayak rentals, and boat ramps. The threatened gopher tortoise, the only tortoise native to Georgia, makes its home along a 2.2 mile nature trail located in the park. The park also offers special events, summer nature programs, and weekend activities.
The Flint River and Lake Seminole
In 2008, the Georgia State Legislature declared Bainbridge the “Bass Capital of Georgia” and it’s no secret that Lake Seminole is one of the main reasons why. Both the Flint River and Lake Seminole offer abundant fishing and water sports, attracting thousands of amateur and professional fishermen with many top bass tournaments throughout the year. Lake Seminole is known as one of the best sites for sports fishing in America. Extensive stump and grass beds provide abundant cover where anglers fish for largemouth, hybrid, striped and white bass. Sizable populations of catfish, crappie and bream are also present. Over 79 species of fish have been identified in the lake.

The Firehouse Arts Center was originally the Public Safety Building and built in 1914. The building reflects the Mission style architecture popular in the early part of this century for public buildings. Typically made of brick and cast stone, Mission buildings feature shaped parapet walls, arched doorways, classical entrances, and broad overhangs. Many of these public buildings have been changed in the path of progress. The Bainbridge building is the only example of Mission architecture in South Georgia. The children’s room consists of classic and contemporary print and DVD titles for children of all ages and reading levels. The children’s room also has six computers with games and learning activities appropriate for your child’s learning level.
Events for children
Storytime: Every Tuesday at 10 a.m., come meet other children, hear a great story, learn new songs and make crafts.
Minecraft Club: Every second Thursday of the month at 4 p.m., come build your world at the library, kids ages 8-12.
ARTS & ENTERTAINMENT GILBERT H. GRAGG LIBRARY
Fortnite Fridays: Come to the library to play Fortnite with your friends every Friday.
Library Legos: Every Tuesday at 4 p.m., come build Legos, K'Nex, and other building materials at the library, any ages welcomed.
Roblox at the Library: Ages 8-12 are all welcome to come play Roblox at the Library.
Events for adults
DIY Craft Club: Come to the library to work on your craft project with friends. Please bring your own supplies.
Bainbridge Bookworks: On the second Monday of every month at 6 p.m., join the Library's monthly virtual book club. For more details, or to join, call the library. Financial Advice: Come to the library to learn about investing, credit and more. The class is led by Lee Bryant of Envision Credit Union.
Introductory Computer Class: The introductory classes cover Microsoft Word, how to use the computer and how to search the Internet. Dates vary, so call 2482665 for dates!
Bridge Club: Players of all ages and skill levels are invited to come play Bridge at the library.
Chess Club: Players of all ages and skill levels are invited to come play chess at the library.
In addition, to these regulary scheduled events, the library holds special events throughout the year, such as Breakfast with Santa.

The Bainbridge - Decatur County Chamber of Commerce is a membership organization dedicated to strengthening business, fostering economic growth, and improving the quality of life for all.
Chamber members are a part of a community of business owners and local professionals who work to serve the collective interests of the business community in order to create economic vitality in Bainbridge and Decatur County.
The three initiatives the Chamber currently focuses on are Business Support and Development, Workforce Development, and Community Branding.
The Chamber offers a variety of membership packages which provide businesses with access to networking events, promotion and marketing, the opportunity to sponsor community events and programs, and an avenue to be involved and informed in the community.
