Letter from the Executive Director
from Graduation 2023
Dear Grace Christian Academy Seniors of 2023:
I want to congratulate you all on reaching this important milestone in your life- one that will surely be a stepping-off point for many amazing things to come. After spending years together (some of you since preschool), you will now be parting ways to follow the unique path that God has laid out for your life. You have been together for countless athletic events, chapel services, and field trips. You have shared laughs, tears, good times, and tough times as you grew from children to young men and women. While I only had the privilege of being with you for one year, I am sincerely grateful for the opportunity to have been a part of your time at GCA. You are truly some of the brightest, most compassionate, hard-working, and Godly young people I have ever met, and I will never forget my first graduating class from GCA- the class of 2023. As you get ready to embark on your next adventure, I want to encourage you to keep Christ in the center of your lives and to remember the truths of scripture you have learned during your time at GCA. More than just knowledge, those Bible classes and chapel services were intended to equip you for the world that you will now encounter. I want to encourage you to make an impact on your world and to embrace a mission mindset wherever you go. Have confidence that you are called and equipped for the specific mission field that you will encounter- be that college, work, or the military. Wherever you go, remember the challenge I’ve often given you this year- to be different and to be set apart. I will end with our verse for this year- “Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your minds, that by testing you may discern the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect.” Romans 12:2
On behalf of the faculty and staff of GCA, Congratulations!
Sincerely,
Sean Johnson GCA Head of School
