When did you realize entrepreneurship, specifically coaching, was a part of your journey?

I grew up in a family that encouraged me to work for others and get good benefits The seeds of entrepreneurship were planted by a sole member that said, Youll never get rich working for others However, I didnt develop knowledge of or a heart for entrepreneurship until my graduate studies at Johns Hopkins University, where I took a course in entrepreneurship as part of the MBA program.

I’ve always provided guidance to others, helped them identify roadblocks, and recommended easy-to-implement solutions that resolved their problems As the facilitator of business networking events, I frequently meet business owners with varying levels of experience Many attendees are looking for software recommendations, ways to improve their marketing and attract more leads, or just a safe place to request guidance What began three years ago as unofficial advice has transitioned into a coaching business that helps entrepreneurs create action plans and strategies to reach their financial goals and scale their businesses

Who do you tribute your success to?

This is a great question I cant attribute my success to only one person I am the result of a supportive network of mentors, associates, and clients Ive had some amazing corporate and entrepreneurial mentors that encouraged me to continue my education and not settle for complacency I’ve been fortunate to have associates who recognized my talent and shared my business with their colleagues The clients that trusted me to eliminate their frustrations and worked with me to transform their business into one that achieves more were truly invaluable

A huge part of your mission is to help entrepreneurs reach their financial goals What can entrepreneurs expect when becoming your client?

Employeepreneurs, business owners working full-time jobs, business owners, and entrepreneurs working with me should expect transformation, not empty promises Everyone that works with me gets clarity We remove the “ mess from their message and highlight their value and the beneficial outcomes their customers will receive Their target audience is attracted to their product or service

What message do you hope your clients take away from their experience with you?

Growth and Goal is a customer-based business I want my clients to walk away from their experience feeling like they have a partner in their business. We’ve all invested in courses and programs that only took our money and left us with more questions than answers My clients know they can come to me with any challenge, big or small, and I will be there to help them find a solution Clients can rely on me to be honest and hold them accountable for actively participating in their journey to success

What advice do you have for new entrepreneurs regarding finances and longevity?

Anyone can start a business, but I want you to remain in business and leave a legacy for your family Use available resources, and don’t think you must “do business alone” There are mentors, coaches, programs, membership communities, and more that serve entrepreneurs with small budgets, large budgets, and no budgets There is no need to struggle or stay stuck when help is simply a phone call away As the African proverb says, “If you want to go fast, go alone If you want to go far, go together”

Where do you see your brand in the next 3-5 years?

In the next 3 to 5 years, Growth & Goal will be a universal business brand While business coaching and consulting will still be the heart of the brand, well have a growing team of coaches and other service providers, such as copywriters and graphic artists Growth and Goal will be a full-service agency that assists our clients with strategic planning and matches them with other trusted service providers, such as grant writers, referral-generating strategic partners, and ad managers

A Pretty Woman Who Hustles is every woman who wakes up daily with a positive mission Whether thats a mom working a job to feed her children and support her family, a mechanic setting her own standards, or a YouTuber sharing her expertise to educate others
