EVENTS
IT’S ALL IN THE DETAIL From simple soirees to gala dinners for thousands, let us help you celebrate.
A lush secret garden was created for the ladies’ luncheon with whimsical suspended centrepieces, towering cherub water feature, stunning gold chairs, and green pin tuck tablecloths.
SECRET GARDEN
Sky Room, Brisbane Convention & Exhibition Centre
DOWN THE GARDEN PATH
A whimsical garden of delight was created using foliage and floating butterflies throughout the centrepieces and dĂŠcor. The garden style setting was brought to life with delicate lighting and natural textures to create a dreamy garden setting.
The annual Somerville House Ball for Year 12 graduates and school community was a spectacular and sparkling event. Oversized crystal chandeliers with stunning white and silver theming produced all the glitz and glamour worthy of a Hollywood celebrity occasion.
THE DIAMOND BALL
To create a rural oasis in the midst of Brisbane’s fast paced urban precinct, a combination of astro turf, pallets, hanging baskets and greenery were installed to set the scene. Details of real greenery, fruit and vegetables, bread sticks and wagon wheels added interest and brought the theme to life.
PADDOCK TO PLATE
John Reid Pavilion, RNA
A JOURNEY TO NEVERLAND
Novotel Twin Waters
An enchanting Teepee was the perfect setting for our client’s Peter Pan theme. We took the guests on a magical journey to meet the pirates and Indians before landing in Neverland. The set up was adorned with colour, foliage and statement pieces to create a magical atmosphere.

A DAY AT THE RACES
Doomben Race Course, BRC
Blurring the lines between the indoors and outdoors, this event showcased the use of natural timbers, greenery and pretty florals with a hint of gold. This lush garden party saw the use of pallets, wine barrels, vintage lounges and rugs for a relaxed day at the races.
OUTDOOR AMBIENCE This outdoor event space combined black and white with green foliage elements and festoon lighting to enhance the night skies. Additional seating in the form of white curved lounges were scattered throughout the area reflecting the circular formation of the Gasometer.
Winter white was the theme and we created a winter wonderland in the heart of Brisbane’s CBD where guests and passers by were entertained by aerialists and ballerinas in snow globe like balls. Illuminated trees and photo booths captured the energy of the night.
XMAS IN JULY
Riverside, West End
A sophisticated, beautifully-styled marquee with navy ceiling drapes and crisp white lining rose from the Brisbane River construction site. Crystal chandeliers glistening in the setting sun were a lavish inclusion.
This event was an extravagant white canvas where the guests were the colour for the day. Painted twigs were attached to the framework and tables to create trees sprouting up from the middle of the space. The guests felt surrounded by clouds with the ceiling and walls swathed in bud-light curtains and draping. The central glow bar feature adorned with deer heads and custom paper leaf backdrop added an impressive talking point.
WHITE ON WHITE
MELBOURNE CUP LUXE
In this luxe and elegant marquee, zones were created to offer guests different settings throughout the day. Fringed curtains, luxurious ceiling drapes, faux grass and oversized bell chandeliers created an impact whilst gold picket fencing, glam furnishings and luxe detail left the guests with a feeling of being a true VIP for the day.
A fairytale evening of elegance that was enjoyed by both young and old began with a wonderful light framed entry that led guests towards a star clothed and draped stage. Sheer white ceiling drapes floated above. Whilst stunning crystal slippers, mirror discs and battery LED lights adorned the tables.
ONCE UPON A TIME
Plaza Ballroom, BCEC
MASQUERADE The Great Hall, BCEC
Colourful lycra ribbons flowed out from the central 3.5 metre high mirrored chandelier to help create an energetic and intriguing party atmosphere. Tall glitter and feather mask centrepieces sat atop black clothed tables to reflect the mystery of a Masquerade Ball.
THE CIRCUS COMES TO TOWN
To bring out the big kid in all of us, our circus inspired marquee had all the colour and excitement of the circus coming to town. Oversized props, colourful furniture and a Big Top inspired ceiling installation certainly made for a fun day at the races.
NIGHT NOODLE MARKET
For this market event, our client’s bar was transformed into a back alley setting with the use of raw pallet furniture, a colourful installation of Asian inspired umbrellas and festoon lighting to ensure a street market feel after dusk.
Gold ceiling drapes and bud lights were used to create a star-studded magical Hollywood theme. The grand Hollywood sign backdrop complemented the Gatsbystyled beaded chandeliers, crystal goblets and mirrored finishes. With lounge areas tucked away in the corners for all that celebrity gossiping this was sure to be an A-List night.
STYLE AND GLAMOUR
The setting was a blank canvas warehouse that allowed us to create a unique event to celebrate 20 years of The Prop House. Industrial Glamour was the theme for the night with black and gold featuring heavily throughout the furniture, mirrored finishes, ornate framing and ambient lighting. A luxe night for an amazing milestone.
