THE 37TH EGYPTIAN EVENT SCRAPBOOK JUNE 6-10TH, 2017 | LEXINGTON, KY USA

PRESENTED BY THE PYRAMID SOCIETY & EGYPTIAN EVENT SIGNATURE SPONSOR

THE 2017 EGYPTIAN EVENT JUNE 7-10, 2017 KENTUCKY HORSE PARK LEXINGTON, KY USA

For dedicated Egyptian Arabian breeders, owners and enthusiasts

one date most assuredly is inked in red on yearly calendars – the annual Egyptian Event. Held the first week in June within the rolling acres and manicured showgrounds of the Kentucky Horse Park, the Event, since its inception 37 years ago, has been known world-wide as ‘more than just a horse show’. And why? Because of the founders’ mission - to showcase this treasured horse in the most effective and humane manner possible for its breeders and owners, while continuing to educate and share that passion and camaraderie with fellow members and devotees. Today the Event’s continued success is due to those overarching principles.

Once again people from around the globe gathered in Lexington to see some

of the top Straight Egyptian and Egyptian sired Arabian horses in the world. The Arabian horse is universally considered as the most beautiful of all equines and for centuries the Egyptian Arabian has been recognized as the strongest, richest source of the sought-after traits unique to the breed. Arabian horse breeders worldwide, and of every bloodline, acknowledge the historical and current contributions of the Straight Egyptian in preserving these treasured traits; in essence the crux of why breeders of Egyptian Arabians or other bloodlines understand the importance of the Egyptian Event.

The Egyptian Event promotes the results of diverse breeding programs while

providing opportunities to enhance or grow one’s own program. Additionally, it offers valuable information about the horse and the chance to enjoy the company of like-minded individuals who also share their passion and appreciate the beauty and history of the Egyptian Arabian horse. Just as the beauty of the Arabian horse is the hallmark of the breed, the hallmark of the Egyptian Event is kindred spirits coming together from all parts of the world and from all walks of life to collectively share their passion for this incredible horse.

Join us as we capture those wonderful victories as well as that spirit of

camaraderie, generosity, and just plain fun of the 37th annual Egyptian Event.
