The CSU Wagga Wagga Supreme Performance Horse Sale will be held at the CSU Wagga th Wagga Indoor Arena on Saturday, 14 December 2013.

The covered arena at the CSU will create a friendly and relaxed atmosphere for those attending the sale.

Food and drinks will be catered for. All proceeds to the Cystic Fibrosis clinic at Westmead Children’s Hospital.

The concept of The CSU Wagga Wagga Supreme Performance Horse Sale was developed by the committee to give vendors and buyers the opportunity to attend a one day sale where quality horses will be offered.

This sale will feature 68 well bred horses with bloodlines representing the top sires in Australia.

The following 68 horses catalogued will give purchasers the opportunity to select a horse to suit campdrafting, cutting, pony club, polocrosse, team penning, trail riding or a good work horse.

SALE INCENTIVE $5,000 SUPREME HORSE OF THE YEAR ELIGIBILITY FOR SALE INCENTIVE AWARD The Supreme Horse of the Year Award is an award of $5,000 annually to the purchaser of the highest performing registered horse. It is open to any discipline Australia wide. Entry forms for the Supreme Horse of the Year Award are now available online from Landmark Equine at www.landmarkequine.com.au. Applications for one nominated year of performance only in the Supreme Horse of the Year Award are to be made within a three year period from date of purchase. The Supreme Horse of the Year Award will be judged on proof of performance by three of Australia’s leading horsemen. Separate Terms and Conditions apply to entry into the Supreme Horse of the Year Award. Horses and owners will only be eligible for the Supreme Horse of the Year Award that attaches to the CSU Wagga Wagga Supreme Performance Horse Sale if the following conditions are complied with: • •

The horse was purchased at the CSU Wagga Wagga Performance Horse Sale. To compete in the Supreme Horse of the Year Award, payment must be made for horse purchases to our sale office within two hours of the completion of the sale. Any passed in lot that is sold privately on the day will still qualify for the Award, providing these sales are lodged and paid for within two hours of the completion of the sale. The Purchaser must remain the Registered Owner of the horse up to and including the nominated year of performance. No horse is eligible to compete in the Supreme Horse of the Year Award if it was sold at the CSU Wagga Wagga Performance Horse Sale by the vendor to a purchaser that is related to the vendor either by Syndicate, company or family.

FROM THE AGENTS: To our vendors, thank you for entrusting Landmark as agents, to offer such a quality draft of horses for buyer competition. The sale catalogue is a showcase of quality performance horse genetics. Pre sale inspections will be welcome from 9.30 am Saturday 14th December 2013, followed by the Stallion Charity Auction at 1.00 pm with the sale set to commence at 1.30 pm on site at the CSU Wagga Wagga Indoor Arena, Pine Gully Road, Wagga Wagga, NSW, 2650. BUYER GUIDE: The catalogue has been put together with three generation pedigree where available to allow as much breeding information as possible prior to the sale. Horse registration papers will be collected by Landmark staff for all horses registered in this sale and forwarded to the relevant breed societies along with signed transfers supplied for all horses sold. It is the purchaser’s responsibility to ensure the ownership transfer fees are lodged with the relevant breed societies. To be sold as a broodmare at the time of sale the mare must be pregnancy tested in foal or have a foal at foot less than 12 months of age. Broodmares in foal must be pregnancy tested and a veterinary certificate produced, together with a certificate of service, details duly completed. The veterinary certificate must be dated not earlier than 14 days prior to the Sale. SALE TERMS: Sales will be made on ALPA standard terms. Refer to ALPA Livestock Terms and Conditions of Sale - www.alpa.net.au COMMISSION: Commission of 7.7% (Inc GST) of the Sale price will be payable by the Vendor to the Auctioneer in respect of each lot catalogued and sold. This applies from the day of sale to fourteen days after the advertised sale date, whether sold at Auction or by Private Treaty. PAYMENT TERMS: Cash Trading terms for the sale will be strictly CASH on the day of sale, however EFTPOS facilities will be available on sale day with 1% surcharge to apply to Visa & MasterCard transactions. AMEX and Diners Club cards will not be accepted. Pre-Approved Cheque Pre-approved cheque is acceptable as a type of payment. All applications paying via pre-approved cheque must be th made to Landmark Wagga prior to 4.00 pm Friday, 6 December 2013 and meet the conditions set out by Landmark Operations Pty Ltd. LETTERS OF INTRODUCTION: Purchasers wishing to book their purchases from the CSU Wagga Wagga Supreme Performance Horse Sale to an outside agent or another Landmark branch will require a letter of introduction from their agent or Landmark branch authorising Landmark Wagga Wagga to do this. All purchasers must settle accounts within two hours of completion of sale or any unsettled lots will be re-offered at the expense of the purchaser including any price variation, where the eventual sale price is higher than the original sale price. No rebates will be paid. A reminder to all successful purchasers, risk, ownership and responsibility for your horse changes hands at the fall of the hammer and you are then responsible for feeding, rugging and transport of the horse from that time. If you wish to insure any of your lots purchased we will have a CGU representative present on the day. Any vendor or purchaser removing the sale number from any lot after it has been sold must full indemnity and keep indemnified Landmark for any loss, cost or damage it suffers in the event the lot is wrongly delivered. The auctioneer may, should it think fit and should the purchaser fail to do so, make arrangements on the purchaser’s behalf and at the purchaser’s expense for the feeding, watering, trucking, shipping of and general attendance to any lot after sale.
