One of our favorites and a recommended hike for 1st time visitors is Mooney Falls, located in the Standing Indian Area just west of Franklin. We rate this hike a 6 on our scale only because it’s steep in some places, however, it is short. Once you come to the “T” in the trail, left will take you to the top of the falls. For the best view, go right to view from below and back up Mooney Creek. Be sure to bring your camera along to capture all that you discover and as always, have fun but be careful when you are out in nature.
