We witnessed a lot of love that weekend. It was deeply moving to hear each couple exchange their vows – their personalities
“As a photographer, the Pop-Up Wedding Project was a fun challenge. With The Nickersons, our business model is based on building relationships; we really try and get to know each of our couples on a personal level. By the time their wedding day rolls around we are a lot more like friends and a lot less like strangers. This enables us to get the authentic, raw, and emotional images that we love. However, with this project we only met half of the couples in advance. For some, the first time we introduced ourselves to them was after their ceremony had taken place. We really had to work hard to establish a connection with all ten couples in a very short time frame – we pretty much had just the two minute walk from the venue to the location where we were taking their photographs. It worked out really well though and we’re so happy with the photographs we were able to create. The couples really trusted us and we were very communicative with them to make sure we were creating photographs that they would love. It was really rewarding to achieve that!” Sarah of The Nickersons “We’ll start off by saying that our PUWP experience was one that we won’t be forgetting anytime soon! Planning ten weddings that take place over the course of only two days was quite an experience and it certainly put our skills and knowledge to the test. We really took it upon ourselves to ensure that the look and feel of the venue was a reflection of All & Sundry’s aesthetic and values, while also taking care to bring some personalization to each and every wedding so that couples felt like their event was unique to them. Of course none of this would have been possible without the amazing team of vendors we were able to assemble to help make PUWP a reality. As a young company, it’s been so amazing to see that All & Sundry has been really embraced by the local wedding community and we were able to form some really strong partnerships with our fellow PUWP collaborators. They really were absolutely invaluable and we couldn’t have pulled it off without them!” Amy & Kamelli of All & Sundry

THE REVIEW
the Pop-Up Wedding Project “We weren’t exactly sure what to expect when we signed up with the Pop Up Wedding Project but we couldn’t have imagined in our most vivid dreams the brilliance that the team created for our special day. At first I was slightly nervous and melancholy to no longer be planning every last detail, but very quickly [those feelings] melted away. I became the most laid back yet thoroughly excited bride you could find! We trusted them as the talented artists and designers we knew they were, which took away more stress and worry than I can describe. Walking into the most beautifully curated venue, picture perfect for us yet a total surprise, was a breathtaking experience. Everyone was extremely professional and caring. We couldn’t have gotten so much within our budget if we had spent years trying to do so ourselves. We may have stayed engaged forever if not for PUWP. Instead, we had a perfect celebration with absolutely no regrets. Forever thankful! - Nicole & Lenny Ford

We wanted to do something to celebrate our one-year anniversary so we decided to do a photo shoot with our wedding photographer. We chose to re-wear our wedding attire and take photos around the house that we've lived in for our first year of marriage. We wanted to have a relaxed feel and I wanted to wear my wedding dress again so I paired it with a denim vest to dress it down. I wore a flower crown made by Oak & Lily and we also had floral arrangements put together. The colours were reminiscent of our wedding theme of green, burlap, and white. It was a great way to reminisce about our wedding day, as well as celebrate our first year of marriage together.
