SIXTH GRADE CAMPS

JUNE 7-11 (MONDAY – FRIDAY)

3D MODELING ENGINEERING & PRINTING Time: 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Cost: $300.00 for One Week or $550.00 for Two Weeks Max. Capacity: 20 Instructor: Mr. Blake Alderfer Grade(s): 6th, 7th, 8th

Students will learn Design Thinking, 3D modeling using TinkerCad and use 3D printers to design and create their own 3D printed city! Students will test their city design against mother nature and see how well their city holds up to hurricane winds, flooding and earthquakes. Students are encouraged to attend both weeks but single week registrations are accepted.

PHOTOSHOP CAMP Time: 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Cost: $250.00 Max. Capacity: 20 Instructor: Ms. Jen Messner Grade(s): 6th, 7th

Come and develop your digital design skills by creating exciting original projects using Adobe Photoshop. Students will need to bring their Regis Macbooks. Computers will be provided to those that have not been issued one yet.

RUGBY SKILLS CAMP Time: 4:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Cost: $250.00 Max. Capacity: 20 Instructor: Coach Holub Grade(s): 6th, 7th, 8th

Spend the early evenings working on everything "Rugby" with the master of Rugby: Coach Holub!

STEM is science, technology, engineering, and math. These are all areas of learning that our kids need to be comfortable with to excel in the future. STEM makes creators, thinkers, problem solvers, doers, innovators, and inventors. We'll spend time with hands-on engaging and fun STEM projects (inside and outside!).

SOCCER SKILLS & CONDITIONING CAMP Time: 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Cost: $250.00 Max. Capacity: 40 Instructor: Ms. Jen Messner Grade(s): 6th, 8th

Players will develop fundamentals, strength and conditioning, soccer knowledge by participating in fun and challenging drills and scrimmages.

MATH FOR RISING SIXTH GRADERS Time: 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Cost: $275.00 Max. Capacity: 20 Instructor: Ms. Jen Messner Grade(s): 6th

Get ready for 6th grade math! This is a 2-session camp over a period of 2 weeks. Each session covers different material. A camper may choose to attend both camps or only the one that fits their schedule. Topics covered: multiplication facts, fractions, decimals, mixed numbers, integers, equations, inequalities, word problems, square roots, percentages, rates, ratios, applying math to real life situations, using excel spreadsheets in math and more! Snacks provided and breaks outside or in the gym (temperature permitting).
