SIXTH GRADE CAMPS JUNE 7-11 (MONDAY – FRIDAY) 3D MODELING ENGINEERING & PRINTING Time: 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Cost: $300.00 for One Week or $550.00 for Two Weeks Max. Capacity: 20 Instructor: Mr. Blake Alderfer Grade(s): 6th, 7th, 8th Students will learn Design Thinking, 3D modeling using TinkerCad and use 3D printers to design and create their own 3D printed city! Students will test their city design against mother nature and see how well their city holds up to hurricane winds, flooding and earthquakes. Students are encouraged to attend both weeks but single week registrations are accepted. UNPLUG & PLAY! Time: 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Cost: $250.00 Max. Capacity: 20 Instructor: Ms. Jen Messner Grade(s): 6th, 7th Spend the afternoon getting away from the screen and spend time, inside and out, playing games, sports and other activities instead! The goal of the games and activities will be to invoke simple enjoyment, promote physical fitness and even stimulate learning. Bring a water bottle and sunscreen. Breaks and snacks will be provided.
