The L.I.M series from Haglofs has been designed to be the lightest weight trekking gear without compromising the durability or performance, making it ideal apparel for outdoor activities in unpredictable weather. The new L.I.M jacket comes in a wide range of colours in both men’s and women’s sizes including the Signal Yellow version we received, you certainly won’t go unseen in this beauty. At just 230g (Mens Size L) this jacket is seriously lightweight, which not only benefits you whilst wearing it but allows you to pack it down into a compact piece and slip into your daypack without adding unwanted weight or bulk. The light weight isn’t to be mistaken for flimsy material however, it feels high quality to the touch and performs impressively against rain and wind whilst remaining breathable. The inner lining is soft to the touch making it comfortable to wear directly on the skin and easy to pull on over other layers. The outside is made with GORE-TEX Paclite PLUS 2.5-layer, which is 100% polyamide and has a 20D, dry-touch mini-ripstop weave face, laminated to an ePTFE membrane this provides a hydrostatic head of 28,000. The L.I.M Jacket has a minimalist design to retain that compact packable construct but ensures you have all the features needed in rough terrain. The hood has a reinforced peak that is fully laminated and can be adjusted at three points for a precise fit and multidirectional protection, the zips are water resistant and there is a large chest pocket with zip access to keep items close to hand. The articulated sleeves have elasticated cuffs to keep the wind and rain out whilst the removal of shoulder, side or inner sleeve seams reduce the chance of chafing and irritation. The adjustable hem can be altered via one hand whilst the reflective details on the sleeve and chest helps you to be seen in lower light. This versatile jacket is perfect for a whole variety of outdoor pursuits whether its hiking, mountaineering, walking or popping out to the shops, simply pack it in your bag if you don’t trust the weather.
