It’s an honor to be one of the first to tell each and every winner of our annual Best of the Best awards – Congratulations! It’s a big deal that your name, or the name of your business appears in this edition. After weeks of counting scores of ballots we can finally let the public know of the results. As for you winners, you can now claim the title of being the very best at what you do! I hope you won’t take that honor lightly. Starting at the end of June and into the month of July, The Rogersville Review published a ballot looking for our reader’s input on which the best people, businesses and food were in Hawkins County and our surrounding area. The answers, in their entirety, are printed throughout these 2013 Best of the Best special edition pages. Special thanks too, to those who took the time and completed our Best of the Best ballot. Our readers didn’t have to do this and there was nothing in it for them, other than taking the opportunity to recognize those people and businesses who bends over backwards every single day for the customers they serve. As most businesses would attest, our reason for being is to serve our customers. And whether your serve food, financial needs or provide a towing service, your customers have spoken! We truly consider it an honor to spearhead the annual Best of the Best awards, and understand it is a privilege for us here at The Review. We take the process of going through the ballots very serious and print the results of the votes without bias or tampering. What you see before you is what our readers and your customers have submitted. We’re proud of that fact. Each winner should have received by now his or her Best of the Best certificate. We’re in the process of developing our signature Best of the Best banners and you should begin seeing those appear in your favorite places of business in the coming weeks. Congratulations to those who won this year and to those who’ve invested in thanking your friends and your customers for voting you number one!
