White Christ as Irving Berliln, 1942
I’m dreaming of a white Christmas Just like the ones I used to know Where the treetops glisten And children listen To hear sleigh bells in the snow. I’m dreaming of a white Christmas With every Christmas card I write May your days be merry and bright And may all your Christmases be white. I’m dreaming of a white Christmas With every Christmas card I write May your days be merry and bright And may all your Christmases be white.

Rudolf the Red-Nosed Reindeer Words by Robert L. May, 1947, Music by Johnny Marks
You know Dasher and Dancer and Prancer and Vixen, Comet and Cupid and Donder and Blitzen. But do you recall? The most famous reindeer of all? Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer Had a very shiny nose, And if you ever saw it, You would even say it glows. All of the other reindeer Used to laugh and call him names; They never let poor Rudolph Join in any reindeer games. Then one foggy Christmas Eve, Santa came to say, Rudolph with your nose so bright, Won’t you guide my sleigh tonight? Then how the reindeer loved him As they shouted out with glee, Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer, You’ll go down in history.

Mar Did You Know? Mary did you know That your baby boy will one day walk on water? Mary did you know That your baby boy will save our sons and daughters? Did you know That your baby boy has come to make you new? This child that you’ve delivered Will soon deliver you. Mary did you know That your baby boy will give sight to a blind man? Mary did you know That your baby boy will calm the storm with his hand? Did you know That your baby boy has walked where angels trod? And when you kiss your little baby You’ve kissed the face of God. Mary did you know? The blind will see, The deaf will hear, The dead will live again, The lame will leap The dumb will speak, The praises of the Lamb Oh Mary did you know? Mary did you know That your baby boy is Lord of all creation? Mary did you know That your baby boy will one day rule the nations? Did you know That your baby boy is heaven’s perfect Lamb? This sleeping child you’re holding Is the Great I Am.

The First Noël The first Noël, the angel did say, Was to certain poor shepherds in fields as they lay; In fields where they lay keeping their sheep, On a cold winter’s night that was so deep. Noël, Noël, Noël, Noël, Born is the King of Israel. They looked up and saw a star, Shining in the East beyond them far; And to the earth it gave great light, And so it continued day and night. Noël, Noël, Noël, Noël, Born is the King of Israel. This star drew nigh to the northwest; O’er Bethlehem it took its rest, And there it did both stop and stay, Right o’er the place where Jesus lay. Noël, Noël, Noël, Noël, Born is the King of Israel. Then enter’d in those Wisemen three. Full rev’rently upon their knee, And offer’d there, in His presence, Their gold and myrrh and frankincense. Noël, Noël, Noël, Noël, Born is the King of Israel.

Jingle Bells Dashing through the snow In a one-horse open sleigh O’er the fields we go Laughing all the way Bells on bobtail ring’ Making spirits bright What fun it is to ride and sing A sleighing song tonight! Jingle bells, jingle bells, Jingle all the way. Oh! what fun it is to ride In a one-horse open sleigh. Jingle bells, jingle bells, Jingle all the way; Oh! what fun it is to ride In a one-horse open sleigh.
A day or two ago I thought I’d take a ride And soon, Miss Fanny Bright Was seated by my side, The horse was lean and lank Misfortune seemed his lot He got into a drifted bank And then we got upsot. A day or two ago, The story I must tell I went out on the snow, And on my back I fell; A gent was riding by In a one-horse open sleigh, He laughed as there I sprawling lie, But quickly drove away. Now the ground is white Go it while you’re young, Take the girls tonight and sing this sleighing song; Just get a bobtailed bay Two forty as his speed Hitch him to an open sleigh And crack! You’ll take the lead.

It’s Beginning to Look a Lot Like Christ as!
It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas Ev’rywhere you go Take a look in the five-and-ten, Glistening once again With candy canes and silver lanes aglow.
It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas Ev’rywhere you go There’s a tree in the Grand Hotel, On ein the park as well The sturdy kind that doesn’t mind the snow.
It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas Toys in ev’ry store But the prettiest sight to see Is the holly that will be On your own front door.
It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas Soon the bells will start And the thing that will make them ring Is the carol that you sing Right within your heart.
A pair of hopalong boots and a pistol that shoots Is the wish of Barney and Ben Dolls that will talk and will go for a walk Is the hope of Janice and Jen And mom and dad can hardly wait for school to start again.

Away in a Manger Away in a manger, no crib for a bed, The little Lord Jesus, laid down His sweet head. The stars in the sky looked down where He lay. The little Lord Jesus asleep on the hay. The cattle are lowing, the poor Baby wakes, But little Lord Jesus, no crying he makes. I love Thee Lord Jesus, look down from the sky, And stay by my cradle, till morning is nigh. Be near me, Lord Jesus, I ask Thee to stay Close by me forever and love me, I pray. Bless all the dear children in Thy tender care, And take us to heaven to live with Thee there.
Merry Christmas and warmest wishes for a wonderful new year filled with many blessings.

Silent Night Joseph Mohr, (1792-1848), 1818
Silent night, holy night, All is calm, all is bright. Round yon Virgin Mother and Child, Holy infant so tender and mild. Sleep in heavenly peace. Sleep in heavenly peace. Silent night, holy night, Shepherds quake at the sight. Glories stream from heaven afar, heavenly hosts sing Alleluia. Christ the Savior is born. Christ the Savior is born. Silent night, holy night, Son of God, love’s pure light. Radiant beams from Thy holy face With the dawn of redeeming grace. Jesus, Lord, at Thy birth. Jesus, Lord, at Thy birth.

Tennessee Christ as Amy Grant, Gary Chapman, 1983
Come on, weather man, Give us a forecast snowy white. Can’t you hear the prayers Of every childlike heart tonight? Rockies are calling, Denver snow falling Somebody said it’s four feet deep. But it doesn’t matter, give me the laughter I’m gonna choose to keep.
Every now and then I get a wandering urge to see Maybe California, maybe Tinsel Town’s for me There’s a parade there, we’d have it made there Bring home a tan for New Year’s Eve Sure sounds inviting, awfully exciting Still I think I’m gonna keep.
Another tender Tennessee Christmas The only Christmas for me Where the love circles around us Like the gifts around our tree. Well, I know there’s more snow up in Colorado Than my roof will ever see, But a tender Tennessee Christmas Is the only Christmas for me.
Another tender Tennessee Christmas The only Christmas for me Where the love circles around us Like the gifts around our tree Well, they say in L.A. it’s a warm holiday It’s the only place to be But a tender Tennessee Christmas Is the only Christmas for me.

Joy to the World! Isaac WaƩs, (1674-1748)
Joy to the world! The Lord has come: Let earth receive her King. Let every heart prepare Him room, And heaven and nature sing, and heaven and nature sing, And heaven and heaven, and nature sing. Joy to the world! The Savior reigns: Let men their songs employ. While fields and floods, rocks, hills, and plains, Repeat the sounding joy, repeat the sounding joy, Repeat, repeat the sounding joy. He rules the world with truth and grace, And makes the nations prove The glories of His righteousness, And wonders of His love, and wonders of His love And wonders, wonders of His love.

Go Tell It On the Mountain While shepherds kept their watching Over silent flocks by night, Behold throughout the heavens, There shone a holy light:
Go, Tell It On The Mountain, Over the hills and everywhere; Go, Tell It On The Mountain That Jesus Christ is born.
Go, Tell It On The Mountain, Over the hills and everywhere; Go, Tell It On The Mountain That Jesus Christ is born.
When I am a seeker, I seek both night and day; I seek the Lord to help me, And He shows me the way:
The shepherds feared and trembled When lo! above the earth Rang out the angel chorus That hailed our Saviour’s birth: Go, Tell It On The Mountain, Over the hills and everywhere; Go, Tell It On The Mountain That Jesus Christ is born. Down in a lowly manger Our humble Christ was born And God send us salvation That blessed Christmas morn:

Holly Jolly Christ as Johnny Marks, 1962
Have a holly, jolly Christmas; It’s the best time of the year. I don’t know if there’ll be snow, But have a cup of cheer. Have a holly, jolly Christmas; And when you walk down the street Say Hello to friends you know And everyone you meet. Oh, ho, the mistletoe, Hung where you can see. Somebody waits for you; Kiss her once for me. Have a holly jolly Christmas, And in case you didn’t hear, Oh, by golly, have a holly, Jolly Christmas this year!
