Available to those residing outside of Monterey, Santa Cruz, San Benito, and Santa Clara counties.
Available to those without property ownership at The Santa Lucia Preserve
Privileges include: Full access to the golf course, clubhouse, and related golf club facilities; Dining at the Golf Clubhouse and the Hacienda, and access to The Nest Coffee House; Access to golf tournaments, events, and services (Legacy and Traditional Members may receive priority access to certain tournaments and events; National Members do not compete in the Club Championship); National Members may bring and sponsor guests. Ranch Club Usage Policy: National Members are extended select access to lodging. While lodging in club facilities, National Members may use The Ranch Club’s other amenities and facilities. Inquire with the Membership Team for further details. The Ranch Club Board may, at any time, restrict, change, or do away with this policy. Use of The Ranch Club’s facilities is in no way a guaranteed privilege of National Membership at The Preserve Golf Club.
Privileges include: Full access to Ranch Club facilities; Dining at the Golf Clubhouse; Access to Ranch Club events and services; Ranch Social members may bring and sponsor guests.

APPLICATION & INVITATION PROCESS GET AN APPLICATION In-person or by email.
INTERVIEW Our Membership Team will accompany you to meet members of the Joint Membership Committee
SUBMIT APPLICATION To the Membership Team. To include: - Application Form - Signed Mission, Vision, & Values - Background Check Documentation - 3 Personal Letters of Recommendation
APPLICATION REVIEW The Membership Team will conduct a reference check of the personal and private club references included on your application.
MEMBERSHIP POSTING Notice of your application for membership is ‘posted’ via email to current members. The ‘posting’ period is ten (10) days, providing a defined timeframe for current members to offer feedback.

RECOMMENDATION The JMC votes on your application and may recommend moving forward with the acceptance and invitation process.
APPROVAL Upon receipt of the JMC’s recommendation, the Board(s) of Directors reviews and votes on the membership application.
INVITATION Upon approval of the Board(s) of Directors, an invitation for membership to the qualified applicants is extended.

The interview provides our members the opportunity to get to know you and to ask questions that ensure you understand and subscribe to the Mission, Vision, & Values of the club and community. It is also an opportunity for you to get to know them and to ask any questions you may have about the club and community, governance, membership options, etc.

WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT UPON JOINING NEW MEMBER OR IENTATION Knowing how to use your membership right from the beginning is incredibly important and orientation is required before use of the club(s). New members should allow up to two hours for orientation. The agenda includes meeting key staff, a review of important access procedures, guest policies, website navigation, and a general overview of how to get around The Preserve. Our team will customize your orientation so it meets your specific needs and interests.
