Partner Bar stocking 100+ Society botles on the bar at any given time. Beginning as Chez Regine in 2010, it was soon renamed Whisky & Alement and became a pioneering haven for whisky lovers and appreciators of all types.

In addition to weekly whisky introductory sessions and masterclasses, Whisky & Alement also sports an ever-changing list of niche and curated beers, plus a seasonal cocktail list crafed by the bar team.

All SMWS members receive 15% of Society drams, so be sure to bring your membership card next time you drop past the bar at 270 Russell St,

16 entrants will be randomly selected by ballot and the tournament will commence at 3pm in a standard knockout format.

The winner will receive a botle of our 30-year-old Rare Release Speyside Blended Malt —The Writing Bureau, which is matured using a combination of 2nd fill ex-bourbon barrels from some of the most highly-regarded distilleries in Speyside.
