Off-program: Movie premiere at Folehaven - the latest production from skis. Everyone are invited to the neighborhood of Folehaven for hot soup, popcorn and movie screening.
All participants in the Arts and Audiences Conference are invited to join the film premiere of the latest production of SKIS Copenhagen: ‘7 x DIALOGUES’ – a film created by artist Tina Enghoff and the residents of Folehaven and Vigerslev (a social housing area in Copenhagen). There will be free bus-shuttle-transport from the conference venue.
ABOUT THE PROJECT ‘7 x DIALOGUES’ is a short movie about trust and is a co-creation between the young residents of Folehaven and Vigerslev and Tina Enghoff.
All of the five films in the project will this day be projected onto the facades in Folehaven, and in the streets an “open-air-photo-exhibition” will be on display. Please come along - all the local neighbors are invited too!

Coping with and navigating through the system in relation to audience development - Mahatat for contemporary art, Egypt - by Astrid Thews Co-founder, Mahatat for contemporary art, Cairo, Egypt Astrid Thews will focus on urban contexts in the Nile Delta. She will look into the different spheres of art and culture in Egypt, the role of development agendas (mostly European), the “enlightenment rhethoric” of Gamal Abdel Nasser in the 1960ies in shaping cultural programming in Egypt, and finally the dilemma of financial survival of an art organization when reaching out to diverse audiences and legal matters when showcasing art in public space. ‘Embodied Performance & Documentary’. Venue: Nikolaj Plads 10, 1067 Copenhagen Nikolaj Kunsthal will be your host this evening, where you are invited to see the current exhibition ‘Embodied’, a collaboration with the Danish documentary festival CPH:DOX, which presents a line-up of international artists who investigates the relationship between documentary, video-art and performance. The exhibition is curated by the London-based curator and producer Jaqui Davies. We will walk together from AFUK through the charming neighborhood of Vesterbro. Dictance 3.7 kilometers. Alternatively, take bus 1A from Enghave Station to Christiansborg and walk (2 min.) from here.
