To have a chance to turn their dreams and passions into a reality, young musicians from disadvantaged backgrounds and communities need a helping hand to level the playing field. The raw talent and passion is clear—but the path rarely is. That’s where MusicBreeds steps in, by supporting youth with the personal and professional development they need to succeed. MusicBreeds offers young musicians a yearlong after-school program that provides them a roadmap for success. Meeting at the nexus of musical talent development, business and entrepreneurial mentorship, and life skills training, youth have access to the training and resources they need to pursue their music at collegiate and professional levels. WE OFFER FOUR WAYS FOR STUDENTS TO ATTEND Full Time In-person access to the studio every day (open from 3–8 p.m.) Per Class Select specific classes, with individual fees Hybrid Attend some sessions in studio and some online 100% Remote All sessions are delivered online
The MusicBreeds facility was designed to accommodate up to 400 students actively enrolled in programs at any given time.
Capital Campaign
To meet our mission to inspire, empower and mentor young musicians, MusicBreeds needs you. The nonprofit was formed in 2014 and is ready to expand to meet the needs of even more youth. Just like the youth in our program, we have an ambitious goal—to raise $150,000 over the next two years. We know with donors like you— we will get there.

The funding raised will support capital improvements needed to facilitate our program. MusicBreeds wants to develop its own recording studio, ensure young musicians have access to instruments, and have the physical space and technology needed to develop their craft. Donors can provide a one-time or ongoing monthly gift. Don’t forget some employers will match a gift as well.
