Bishop, CA—The Yuhubi Nobi Gas Station and Market is making fast favorites on its Deli Menu, and with store hours, from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m., serving Grab-N-Go Breakfast and Lunch specials, from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m., it’s Deli Time, anytime. Speaking of favorites, Daniel Anderson, manager, says the deli serves up 150 items, with the Breakfast Burrito taking first place in the “favorites” category. There’s Taco Thursdays, with the popular Taco Salad, and Fridays, with the Clam Chowder, notes Anderson, to round out the popular plates. Chicken wings, hamburgers, and the ever-popular chicken tenders for the kids, are also highly rated, and orders to go make it easy to find something for everyone. Anderson adds, the fresh salads and wraps are gaining in popularity, and as the weather warms up, these menu items are filling up the deli cases.

With large, convenient parking areas, for larger RVs, trucks, trailers, and work teams, it’s easy to see why the deli and its menu are becoming a go-to-place. Tecopa and Shoshone Area Active Transportation Survey

Inyo County Local Transportation Commission and Inyo County would like to better understand the interest by community members in the Tecopa and Shoshone areas in walking and biking to access local destinations. Competitive state grant funding may be available to improve active transportation infrastructure for walking, biking and rolling in public spaces. An important part of the grant application is obtaining input and ideas from community members.
