Mark Todd Watts
Obituary
Mark Todd Watts of Liberty, Utah passed away peacefully, August 1,2022. Mark was born on December 9, 1962 in Lancaster, California. His family moved to Marble Canyon in 1967, then relocated to Big Pine, California in 1968. He graduated from Big Pine High School in 1980. He continued his education at College of the Siskiyous where he earned his AS degree. While attending college Mark took a job at Weed Lumber Mill. This would launch his love for the lumber and building industry. He leaves behind his successful business, Automated Structures, as his legacy. He had a strong devotion to his employees and considered them part of his family. Above all, Mark loved his family. He was in his element outside in nature, especially fishing. He was an avid football enthusiast, skier, and often the instigator of an unforgettable adventure. Mark had a kind spirit and always fought for the underdog. He had an innate belief in people to reach their potential. Mark is well known for his incredible sense of humor and his ability to bring laughter into any situation. Mark is preceded in death by his son, Wyatt Todd Watts in 2017, and his father, Gar Albert Watts. He is survived by his wife Julie, of 29 years, daughters Autumn Ann, and Katie Brook. His mother , Bonnie Watts of Big Pine, brother, Mike Watts and his children, Kimberly and Mikey. His sister, Missie Watts-Weed and her children, Ashton, Gar, and Tadd, of Yreka, California. A celebration of life will be held in his honor on Saturday, September 24, at 11:00a.m., in the Big Pine Town Hall. 150 Dewey Street, Big Pine, California.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Bishop Unified School District of Inyo County, California, acting by and through its Governing board, hereinafter referred to as “District”, will receive up to, but not later than, the above-stated time, sealed proposals for the award bid to re-roof the south facing portion of the West Gym.
Bid should include the following: Remove the existing composition shingle roof, clear all debris, nails and dispose of properly by roofing crew. Dry in using 3 feet of ice and water shield WIP300ht and remaining roof synthetic felt tiger paw. Install all necessary roof flashings and pip flashings. Install Timberline HD lifetime shingles to entire south facing roof. Alternate bid for full project replacing entire West Gym roof.
All contractors/sub-contractors must be registered and in good standing with the Department of Industrial Relation.
The District reserves the right to reject any or all proposals or to waive any irregularities or informalities in any proposal. The District also reserves the right to alter the scope of the project in order to complete work within the District budget.
A payment Bond, Performance Bond, Workers’ Compensation Certificate and Certificate of Insurance will be required prior to execution of the contract. The aforementioned bonds and certificates shall be in the form called for in the contract documents. All workers will be required to pass a DOJ Live Scan background check prior to being on campus.
The District has determined the general prevailing rate of per diem wages in the locality in which this work is to be performed for each craft or type of worker need to execute this contract: These rates are on file at the District Office. Copies may be obtained on request.
The schedule of per diem wages is based upon a working day of eight (8) hours. The rate for holiday and overtime work shall be at least time and one-half.
It shall be mandatory upon the contractor to whom the contract is awarded (Contractor), and upon any subcontractor under him, to pay not less than the said specific rates to all workers employed by them in the execution of the contract. It is Contractor’s responsibility to determine any rate change which may have or will occur during the intervening period between each issuance of written rates by the Director of Industrial Relations.
