Carien Jacobs - People Are My Passion Cover Page Story
by Dries Petzer
Everyone talks about the importance of achieving a work/life balance, but trying to find perfect balance is a pipe dream. Education is important in this matter. Carien Jacobs are closely involved with training of personnel. She believes that with the right education, family issues can be solved without any need for conflict. In today's fast-paced life, most of us are urged to do more, faster, and with fewer resources. There seems to be more pressure to be successful—whatever that means—than ever before. While doing the job of two or three people at work, we're expected to be exemplary parents AND have a fulfilling personal life in which we rear perfect children, enjoy our hobbies, volunteer in the community, and take superb care of our bodies, spirits, and minds. These pressures at the workplace are usually taken home. The families are in many cases the persons WHO suffer under this. She believes that if the families are trained to handle this stress, the fewer problems there will be. In many families that are separated the fathers are the ones WHO are the one that are on the losing end. 5
Carien, together with her colleagues offers regular workshops to these fathers on handling these separations and give counseling to fathers. Carien believes with the right training, fathers will not feel forced to go to such drastic measures to prove a point, the actions of which commonly make the situation worse. With the great success achieved through her seminars and workshops, she has been able to help countless relationships directly and indirectly. These seminars and workshops are offered all over the Northwest Province & Northern Cape Province. Carien posts regular information on courses offered by her on her Facebook profile. Its Starts With 5 Minutes A Day Motivational
by Dries Petzer
People expect quick results. It's ingrained in modern culture. But if you are reasonable then you will not expect to see results from only one training session in the gym. If you are reasonable then you can not expect overnight wealth. Good things take time. They require your time, effort, and attention. My question to you today is, "are you putting in the time that is needed to upgrade your state of mind?" You should block out at least 5 minutes a day to be alone. In this time I want you to sit with your thoughts. It's a special time of the day where you turn your attention to your dreams, goals, and your aspirations. It's an opportunity to deal with limiting beliefs, objections, worries, and debilitating fears. The return you will get is oustandingly disproportional to the time you are investing. Imagine the impact your life when you are freed from a limiting belief. Imagine in the impact in your life when you are clear on the goals that you want to achieve. It happens... And it starts with 5 minutes a day.
