MasterPiece now adds value to both ends of your business process with an innovative pre-visit ‘ballpark quoting’ engine; a diary for scheduling estimator visits and fittings; and support for in-shop sales.

The ballpark quoting engine enables both inexperienced and experienced sales assistants to produce better ballpark quotes than is possible without a software tool. So, either the potential customer is primed well and commits, or else time and effort of a wasted visit is saved.

The dairy for scheduling fitters is a graphical diary for allocating fitters to events by drag and drop. Fittings are allocated to a team according to capability, with duration estimated; the agreed time band within which the fitter will arrive is also captured.

Doing a runner, with Richlieu Louis de Poortere

Showing an exclusive preview of 23/24 additions to its rug collection, as well as the Richelieu Mix and Match runner programme, Louis de Poortere’s stand is one of newness.

Visitors to the show will be able to see how easy it is to create a fabulous wool-rich bespoke runner in the Richelieu Mix and Match programme – recently expanded to nine patterns and 144 colour options, to give homeowners an extraordinary choice.

Louis de Poortere will also show prototypes of new designs to its 23/24 collection, which will launch in September. Alongside these new designs, the 23/24 collection will also become mono-polymer, using a 100% polyester construction.

“By going to a mono-polymer construction, our 23/24 collection lets us explore the possibility of recycling the rugs back into themselves,” says UK sales director Alan Russell. “It’s a journey that we’re only just beginning and there are certainly challenges to overcome. However by going to a recyclable mono product, our new collection meets one of the industry’s biggest challenges head-on and makes product circularity truly possible. It’s a really exciting time for us at Louis de Poortere.
