WCC COW PALACE, ANITA , IOWA LIVESTOCK AUCTION FACILITY
Greetings and an annual Welcome to our “Don’t You Think it’s Time” Bull Sale. That title is the persistent calling of the past, present, and future in our efforts to bringing value to all cattlemen, both purebred and commercial. As you know the results of those efforts don’t come without adversity, but we couldn’t be more excited for this new group of bulls and the direction that we are headed in bringing high quality, proven, and functional genetics to the industry. The reward, for us, is seeing the success that these bulls have provided for others and the opportunity to positively impact cattlemen across the nation.
There are many bulls in our operations that have been featured in backdrop photos over the years. Our dear friends and astute Shorthorn breeders, the Gilman Family, had a fantastic year with the National Champion Pen of Three Bulls in OKC this year and they were very deserving. Our operations continue to challenge ourselves in improving our genetic platforms while in staying true to our foundational standards in sustainability.
I would like to thank everyone who has been a supporter of ours over the years, some for several generations. We couldn’t do it without you, and we also look forward to all the new interest we get every year. We also couldn’t showcase these bulls without the Will family and the “Cow Palace” facility. It’s a great venue and we encourage everyone to join us on sale day. As always, we are available anytime to discuss the bulls and stay tuned to our platforms with updates on videos, carcass evaluations, and other important information.
Sincerely,

Don’t turn the page, another Tradition son that deserves some attention! How well that name fits into our herd. The breeders on the pedigree represent years of quality and success with beef Shorthorns. That’s what “we” call Tradition. He is one power house! Easily one of the highest performance bulls in the offering. You can build programs around these Tradition sons, others have with bulls such as JSF Time Square, JSF Wall Street, and Muridale Thermal Energy. We really feel like Key Note has the potential to become a dominant sire with worlds of potential.

This young herd sire has KEEP written all over his pedigree. His sireTradition- has written US breed history with his sons since the day he crossed the Northern border. His Taylor Made mother is a mainstay in our mature cow herd and a maternal brother sold to our friend and respected breeder Jim Hegg.
