THETA MAGAZINE CHANGES For many years, college member fees have funded the Theta magazine, a publication that is read primarily by alumnae (93 percent of total readership). The Theta magazine is currently in transition from a free printed publication to a printed publication that will be sent to all collegians, Theta Life Loyal members, dues-paying members of alumnae chapters, and alumnae who pay individual dues directly to the Fraternity. The online version of our award-winning publication, which comprises all the features of the printed version, will always be available to every Theta.

Our governing laws make no provision for the funding or distribution of the Theta magazine. Many shortterm attempts to finance it over the years, including paid subscriptions and additions to chapter dues, have failed to address the issue of an ever-expanding membership and rising print and postage costs. I’M AN ALUMNA; HOW CAN I CONTINUE TO RECEIVE THE PRINTED VERSION OF OUR MAGAZINE?
•Join an alumnae group. Information about alumnae chapters and circles is available at www.kappaalphatheta.org; after you’ve logged in, click Find a College Chapter or Alumnae Group in the list of links on the left of the screen. •If there is no alumnae group in your area, you may pay per-capita dues directly to the Fraternity. After
you’ve logged into to www.kappaalphatheta.org, click k Alumnae Dues in the list of links on the left of the screen. •Enroll in Kappa Alpha Theta Life Loyal, a program that was developed to provide enhanced services to members and to recognize those who support the Fraternity financially. More information about Theta’ss Life Loyal program may be found on page 7.
